Then why bother griefing? Just uninstall it and move on.

I can't say I've quite much if at all. If you ever want to find out how to manage swarming grunts with a few demigods popping in or out, get in a good 3v3 with two AI players. I have a lot of fun just stalling the other players and its also helpful to learn a responsive playstyle for when such becomes neccessary. But I can't say it doesn't get old. Then again, so do the numerous Regulus players. --Xetoris
I pretty much have to agree with your points. I've only played UB a few days to analyze his tactics, but I can tell you from experience that 2 Spits + 1 Grasp = no mana, even late game. In fact I've lost more 'duels' to people who reclisly charge in then those who try to range themselves due to this fact (excluding Regulus on occassion). I really have problems with rooks/oaks who stack defense with +HP/Regen. They can usually outlast me to the point where I'm hoping to make it to a tower for
I just started playing UB the other day because I get pissed that Regulus has a ranged ability to hit me from the other side of the map. I think the damage is adaquate. In fact, I don't have a problem with the ability other than he can cap a flag half across the map AND hit me just enough to kill me while I'm finishing off his partner at the same time. But that's just me ranting. So I picked up UB because I heard that Reg. players seem to hate him. After playing two mat
Don't forget about QoT's mulching ability. If you stack HP for minions, that means TB won't 1shot your minions, which means you can mulch yourself back to near full health. Living longer could mean higher mana regen (if you stack it), which means more minions. More minions means more damage + mulching. It's not a perfect scenario, since you spend quiet a bit of mana if your mulching constantly (plus the cooldown), but I've survived 2v1 encounters
I've even seen it where my team wins and I get like 110 favor points for healing and the enemy TB gets like 80 even though his team lost. All because TB killed a ton of creeps, and healing is not tracked. You make no sense - your healing helped your team win, hence you get more pts (110 IS higher than 80)
I think his point was that there is a 30 point difference when the gap should be significantly differe
The only problem I see with that idea is that, if it was implemented, you'd have to find a way to distribute favor points to make up for all those you now can't earn. Then there is always the option to exploit this new calculation, at which point some measure would have to be added to determine when the match is a valid match and not an exploitation. But that's just a moment's thought. --Xetoris
I had posted this a little while ago on a reply to another post and was wanting to get more feedback: If you are giving an ally an aura buff, but do no damage to an enemy player, and your ally gets the killing blow, do you get credit for an assist? I know this might seem a bit broken, but for players playing heavy support, this could go a long way to evening out the rewards and supporting group tactics. If I'm playing Sedna and one of my teammates playes an assa
I see your point. This makes me wonder, if we could implement maybe a 'bandage' type mechanic where you could heal your oponent using an item, but have it heal on a significantly less scale then Sedna, would that make this any better? I keep getting a favor/distaste for the idea: On one side, you now have a smaller scale heal that you can use on an ally, but it doesn't out weigh having a dedicated player as Sedna because of the amount of cost + cooldown per heal
I didn't alt-tab until the game had frozen. The error may have occured then, not sure. That is just what I saw when I tried to exit the game so I could restart.
I know! We'll increase his speed with the wings, but if he takes a hit it drains his mana to zero and cuts his speed to 50% for 99999999999999999999999999999999999 seconds! No, seriously, he's a pain in the butt as it is. --Xetoris
Well theres a sort of double-edged sword here. Yes, having an award for healing is technically unfair. Since only 2-3 DG can actually heal, it prevents other DG's from getting this award. However, you can consider the achievements for chain killing, etc. in the same boat. I play Setna quiet a lot and many times can pull good kill chain/amount. Especially if I actually spec into silence so the other DG's can't teleport away. Bur, any person who is
Just got an error which caused the game to have to be aborted, but didnt launch me out of the game. I was joining a match and I failed to connect to a player, then it just locked up. I alt-tabed out and found this error displayed: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x1005bf5b attempted to read memory at 0x00000000 Program : C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe Cmd line argu
I had an issue last night with Sedna where I wasn't able to heal for the first five minutes of the match. I literaly had to move across the map and come back before the ability would work. It was quite annoying.
So I noticed an interesting thing today. As I played a few matches doing nothing but spam healing my fellow demi's, I happened to look at the three successful summary sheets. Not only did I recieve the least amount of points (fair?) but I received hardly over a hundred. I also had the highest flag-capture rate. I think healing needs to be re-factored in the favor system! I've seen matches that were w
I've had the same problem. I was able to play for a few hours up until ~ 11:30PM EST. I left and when I got back and decided to play I keep getting the same error. "Could not connect to the NAT Facilitator, please try again later." Guessing the servers crashed. The joys of launch week. ^.^ Anyone else tired of the NAT protocal? I really think we should just eradicate it. Who cares about potential mass panic at lack of connection and rampid virus? If it means the
