You are looking in the wrong forum. And yes, Frogoy posted a work item list for demigod. Patching has been slow because GPG was concentrating on SupCom2.
He has the most epic lines! SALVATION THROUGH IMMOLATION! The best part is the laugh. It's my whole hearted belief that you are not playing TB right if when he is laughing maniacally, you are laughing along with him just as crazy-like.
I'm Guilty of this too! Too bad TB is fail. :( I love hybrid TB!
I like the new loading icons for the skill graphics. Very slick :)
Obviously they are 4 dimensional. Spikes that are sharp in all directions... she is a goddess after all. Queen is also not easy eatings until late game... UB can not push her until level 5 on maps like cata that have a nearby tower. No DG can cut through QoT's shield and monk heals faster then the tower and her can cut through them, early game. This is a problem early for all DGs on popular maps, because she can extend out and hit at range, and then make it easily back to safe
Wasn't directed at you... just the general conversation flow of, keep QoT in the creep wave late game to fight other DGs. Which doesn't really work, especially vs Oak. You have 0 chance of going toe to toe with any DGs past 13, in or out of creep waves. Pretty much every DG has a way to deal with your frontline troops except Sedna, but that is fine because you can't hurt Sedna as Qot at that time in the game. You will run out of mana way faster then she will run out of life.<br /
The main point, there is a huge disparity between new players and experienced players. DG's gameplay mechanics are very unforgiving to inexperienced players playing experienced players, and it is not fun to be on this slippery slope of no hope once you see you are rolling down it. You could also try some Pantheon games, as they will get you some 1on1 action where you learn really quick the capabilities of individual DGs. If you sit there for 20 minutes you will usually get a g
The next tournament should be 4vs4 with the rules I laid out months ago (but with Oc and DA included). I bet it would be better to do 4vs4 since the 2vs2 teams already established can double up and be ready to go on short notice without leaving players separated from preferred teammates. (which is what will happen if you do 3vs3) You must take 2 assassins and 2 generals, no duplicates 1 of Oak Ereb UB 2 of Rook, TB, Sedna, Oc 1 of QoT, Reg, DA Map is
Err... really, Oak rapes QoT past 10. If you look at the comparable skills both QoT and Oak share that are used, his are better in every case. He really can just walk right up to you and kill you with about 25% health remaining, and that's assuming he doesn't pop a potion in your face. Surge of Faith with Divine Justice will demolish you, and if he interrupts your second ground spike, it is all over badly. It is just jaw dropping to me to see people say QoT can fi
Now most teams I see either stack Tier I's, Oak/LE/UB, do the classic three sedna/erebus/UB or do triple general. Also, since I'm no longer really active(please please just nerf UB and healthstacking and balance the game) and I'm really lazy I give Lord-Orion the permission to post THE qot guide now.
OK, I'll write it up, but let you review incase I miss something.
Rock on! Thanks for this.
I took a 2 month break but am back. Admitedly 1/2 my current posts aren't productive, and more aligned towards the fact that QoT loves me more than synn. But I would like to think that my productive posts contain valuable content. Now I just have to find some games. :)
Yeah, but those implants cost you 1500, I used my 1500 for Nimoth... I win.
I never stopped using it, except for that one point where the DB seemed to be down for awhile. (Could see the UI, but not pull up stats)
My Queen avatar is better than your queen avatar
It's not bugged... just dumb. If you factor in that shield does not work with the damage reduction by ground spikes, and that if you have shield IV you are probably going to have shield on as often as possible.... Also, if you compare thorn return damage to something like, ooze. Yeah... not exactly an overwhelming level 15 skill choice for a DG who's lategame is atrocious.
Just use a bot to monitor the thread and make a post.
This kind of sarcasm is what creates Antisocial personality disorder. :D As I see it, there is nothing wrong with shield, but there is something seriously wrong with Goddss of Thorns.
If I was in the tourney I would play her, but I came back to the site after registration was closed.
I am using it. I will probably relase a mod at some point. Eventually DG will be like total anniilation for me. I will play it in offline mode occassionally with my own better AI and balance, like I did with my warmonger mod for Total Annihilation.

You cannot lane against either of these DGs.Ignore Orion everyone, the man is clearly dillusional.
Delusional? Let me tell you... until you learn to Lucid Dream and do all sorts of fun things with QoT, you aren't allowed to speak on my delusions. ;) To clarify, I meant for the allowable tourney c

As I recall, LE wasn't always paralyzed after the bite animation. This was something that was added because I specifically recall being miffed about the new pause after an update. Also, I wonder how much of a good idea it is to have ANY pauses except for animation. Not from a balance perspective, but from an engine perspective. Putting things to sleep is always bad as it has the chance to create blocking events. (I notice that the ones with really high pauses outside of animation are
You forgot to list as a disadvantage how easy it is to interrupt fire TB and how telegraphed his fire moves are. eg: The fact that oak can shield your fireball off, and then interrupt your nova or RoF means you are about to get your arse handed to you as fire TB.
Everything is just a suggestion, but QoT's dynamics are complicated. 1) She needs to farm as long as possible early to get a level advantage for the end game. 2) She is the strongest DG early game, easily holding her lane for a long time. 3) Mana- We all know using her skills drains a ridiculous amount of mana. 4) A changing gameplay paradigm where defense works best for her early on, but quickly changes to offense. All of these come together to make thin
