Yeah, it's easy to get lots of minions because you only need to invest in a few skill points. It's hard to get "good" minions without investing lots of skills and money. I am betting it's not the minions that are doing you in, but a hybrid build. Where the DG can beat you in a confrontation, and then his "average" minions can go to town. eg: I would love to see someone play a Queen, Sedna, or Oak and invest in nothing but minion skills and items. I don't think they wou

I have a theory that can make QoT much better without doing much. That theory is to switch the skills Shamblers and Mulch, so mulch is on the closed skill tab with shield. The whole "Build army when closed and destroy armies when open" doesn't make much sense to me either. It should be Defense & Offense mode. As for other crazy ideas I've toyed with in a mod that may or may not be popular. 1) It wouldn't hurt to give Queen (and Sedna) 6 minion
The replay needs to be the same version of DG For DA, this worked for me. I went into Impulse, right clicked on Demigod and chose Verify Installation. After that I could play DA in single player.
Yeah, some good players become feeders every once inawhile... you should at least give them the benefit of the doubt until they've done the same thing in 2-3 games. Bad things happen sometimes. ;) eg: I want to try a build with torch bearer... oh look it's Lordi17's cloak of the night oak... 7 deaths later and I can imagine my team mate it ready to strangle me. It went something like this. "Fireball!" (oak shield) "hmmm... Ring if Fi..." (penitence inte
Play better is a partially useful suggestion. ;) If you would indicate what items / skills / favor you have noticed are useful against you early on, that would be appreciated. This is more of an experience factor for me since I don't run into this build often. eg: There is shock and indecision on what to do to handle such a high DPS, and it makes my performance worse as I make bad decisions in hindsight. Admittedly there was also to much chatty with my partner because he was begging m
I always liked the "look" earnings in DowII for playing games. Might be kind of cool in Pantheon as you earn achievements. eg: Get achievement X with Oak, get a cape or something.
Every once inawhile I'll get so totally pwned, that watching the replay I'll be like... OMG was that really me? So last night I ran across Irahi's frost bearer. Swift Anklet, banded, brutality and Rain of ice to start, I was ereb with Monks, BoTF and Bite to start The OMGWTFPWN went something like this. I walk into the lane, I start taking 275-295 DMG a shot from his change into ice mode. Pretty much before I can even threaten to bite him, he's
All you need to do is make a generic game name and password everyone here should use. Keep the name and password in the forum, that will eliminate 99% of the bad players from joining it. In case of more then 1 game going up at the same time, just increment the name by 1.

So, your opponent has captured the side portal early (level1). What is better? Dual lane farm to level 5 (you only need to be at the corner of the lane to get XP from the creeps dying on the side towers) Or, Cap portal and get war score, and supposedly more XP for a higher warscore? Just curious what the best way is from a gameplay mechanics standpoint.
Ai is bad. It cheats blatantly and is not hard to beat once you know how to explot its design. So any victory in nightmare tournament is hollow and not representative of real gameplay. You need real live people to enjoy demigod, so in that regard it is absolutely great for Lan with your friends if you have no desire to play strangers online.
Fail QoT is the most vulnerable DG to the Boulder / Hammer combo... she has no interrupt, and has a huge footprint making dodging it impossible. QoT is hopeless against a typical tower rook who gets boulder/hammer Also, that "QoT can solo any assasin past 7" only works until about level 12. A level 20 queen cannot beat a level 15 anything except reg.
Yeah, don't forget you can rotate a ship's port/starboard orientation. eg: You can still engage on a flat plane, by can reverse starboard and port sides. Also don't forget that near the speeds of light perception of time slows down. So a battle that takes 2 seconds from planet perception would take alot longer to those involved at high speeds.
This is why I abort if getting to the pulsating icon on the map splash screen takes more then 2 minutes.
I'll bring one if key tower is about to go down AND I can warp-in in time to drive the attacker off. Then I'll heal the tower so the enemy can't do a hit and run to finish it off. I also use them when facing speed builds early in the game. Most speed players are bad players (which is why they use speed in the first place) so usually end up below 600 HPs for the kill as they run... this is also insta lane control for a long time. eg: If this happens early in the game, by the time they
Ooh ooh... I want to add one Regulus A speed Regulus has no counter... he can snipe you from long range, and scope, maim and mines prevent you from getting close to do any dammage to him. Since you can't hit him, he can concentrate on attack items, making the imbalance worse.... *gets strangled*
Fortunately, if I am ever actually in danger of dying by a snipe, I click the sigil button and all my problems are solved. I also guarantee the average players in a 2on2 confrontation using the better DGs can step on land mines and still kill reg before one of them is killed by his team mate. Also, Reg's "shining" in group combat is just the place where he it not totally pwned by other DGs. You would do better with any other DG except maybe QoT unless you are a master with her
It happens because most of the good players aren't retarded and went with generals. As for the good players who went assassins? They're just masochistic, but they are out there and you can get in game with one sometimes. ;)
1) Yes, yes, taken for granted. ;) 2) It's good, look at DemigodDB as additional info, more graphs and charts. Some content is too deep in clicks (eg: minion idols) 3) Some content is bad because of this.
I was hoping for minion idols. ;)
The reason I take conversion aura 2 and 3 is because I treat minions as disposable. Count the creeps in any given lane, then count how many will be converted. If you are kamikazing them every wave, the conversion auras are important to keep a steady stream. If you aren't sacrificing wave after wave of nightcrawlers, you aren't roleplaying LE correctly. ;)
Give Yetis some love while you are at it. Also, is your Rook's tower of light giving everyone the middle finger?
Ahhhhahahah.... you are assuming there are players with 100 or more games who aren't terrible players. You are assuming there aren't players with less than 100 games who can't rape 95% of the DG population. You are assuming there are enough players at once to get even 1 game going on the different servers.
Look for my "pain in the neck" build in this forum somewhere. It is a pure LE minion build, but it not so strong anymore with the nerf to horn of battle, the nerf to the turn rate of your critters and the increased cost to wand of speed. Hybrid LE is a MUCH stronger way to play LE with minions now. (hybrid was still previously stronger, but this build was viable until the latest patch) Still, it should give you some ideas.
You know what would make this combo even more awesome? Not using reg.
