Foul Grasp isn't a stun, it's more like a shackle. You can't do anything but neither can the beast who's grasping you, for the duration. That's why it's not exactly the same as the other castable stuns.

When someone leaves the game there is a fairly high chance they will take others with them by causing a server split. Additionally there have been reports of a lot of people not getting wins at the end of their game because everyone server splits right at the end of the game causing only one person to be assigned a win. See http://forums.demigodthegame.com/357221 for another example.
I've seen this happen too, probably caused by splits and the the stats server giv
well i can appreciate the fact that they close in a bit then fire on a movable target. I hate it when I'm chasing at max range and my guy keeps ALMOST firing.
That's a bug with the attack animations, they could fix it if they wanted to (if you start the attack animation you finish it and launch the attack no matter what, kinda like casting a spell on someone who moves out of range) Note that Regulus NEVER has this problem because he launches his bolts with no an
They didn't fix this? Why?
Once the game has better support for clans and friends, it will get a lot better.
Depends on your definition of "better" Leaving will most likely be reduced (your friends don't quit) but shit talking will shoot up like a rocket. Now that you are in a comfortable environment people will unleash their inner playground schoolchild and the flaming racist idiocy and the like will be released.
This is classic Dota. I've long lost my faith in humanity so it doesn't really faze me anymore.
It was always large and bubbly.
This would be faster with wings....
It would have been the same as before had they just left though. The conceding in this case changed nothing. Had your last ally conceded though it would have stopped the game.
A ladder reset is a totally normal event... in diablo people are looking forward to it, waiting anxiously to join the run for the first lvl 99 char.
Yeah but after the reset all your existing characters didn't get deleted.
This is a one time thing. We won't be resetting favor again in the future even in future epochs."
Good, I should hope not.
This is not a bad thing. Having him stop at the max range has its drawbacks also. Getting up close: Pros- If the enimy runs, you are closer to start chasing. Con-you got close, and if you need to run that is bad.
If I want to get closer I'll click closer. It's definitely a bad thing. If they start running you'll start chasing as soon as they leave your attack range which should be right away assuming you're standing at the max range
Played WoW for 3 years.
And now you're bitter about the concept of "working" for things in online games?
when someone RQs the system automatically counts a concede vote, he is still replaced by an a.i.
That explains it. The people from the OP's game were just being normal leavers.
Statistics of what? My curiosity is piqued.
Of the wins/losses of people who had a Heart of Life at the end of the game. You know, to see whether "only the bad people" got it.
Wow. I am truly speechless here. Trying to collect my thoughts on this idea of putting in some hard work in a game. Really? Is this REALLY the case for some people? They feel like they have 'worked hard' to get their Favor and their Stats and when it is erased they want to take a 'break'? I just don't get it. This is a game folks and as such it is meaningless except for a brief escape from reality or to relax and to ultimately just have fun. Let me sum up: IT i
No. The people who depended on it were not that good anyways.
Says you. They have the actual statistics.
Anything that you need to "unlock" in an online multiplayer game must always be preserved or else many people will simply leave rather than re-earn them if you strip it away. Sadly I think that is about to occur.
So conceding is equivalent to quitting now? They instantly leave the game? I thought it would be a flag they set and if all the people on your team set the flag then the game would end.
I never realized how many people were so closely bonded to a trinket made up of ones and zeros.
But doesn't this just confirm that it was overpowered if so many people were depending on it?
You don't need > 50% concede rate before it counts for the team? How does this conceding work?
if the only tradeoff is gold, theere xp still shouldnt be lowered as low as it is
Um...that's exactly why the exp was lowered to as low as it is.
Is this "blancing" of the game going to end?
Who's making the game white now?
Every match you start fresh. If something gets changed.. just adapt. There's not a real 'investment' you lost.
Unless they decide to reset your favor points to 0.....which they just did.
I don't see why they had to reset favor. Resetting the statistics was to purge the losses-that-were-not-losses from the record. I don't see what favor had to do with this.
In Ice mode right? It's yet another of the autoattack bugs. Attacking something out of range causes ranged heroes to move up to the target instead of stopping at the limit of their attack range.
