Getting creeps all at once (priests angels catapults) is really the only way. The priests give too much gold to get if you enemy has any kind of reliable aoe.

I'd also note that loading any forum is *extremely* slow, but loading posts directly (from "My Replies" menu) is much faster.
It is happening to me right now. Timestamp on my post works for time, but it's been happening all morning. Always for http://forums.demigodthegame.com/forum/469 - General forum. Coincidentally the other forums like ideas (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/forum/471) are not suffering. It's always General. I am logged in, as you can see. It doesn't seem to matter how you get there, url copy/paste, Click the "Demigod" link from a post top/bottom, or hi
[quote]I know what the issue is but unfortunately resolving it will take some time. When I have a few hours free I'll fix it.[/quote] Cool.
Also would it be possible for someone to fix the quote tags? About 20% of the time they aren't registering the close [/quote] and just absorb your whole post.
[quote]Whining and complaining had always been the way human society had pushed forward, and form the basis of the democracy and politics. If there's no love from the community no one would have cared and whined. Because people cared they complained. So, what's wrong with whining? I can see no disadvantages. Praise is good ocassionally but too much praise is bad. Too much complain is never bad. N
It's doing it again....the General forum has vanished, and I can only see stickies...
[quote]Exactly[/quote] ....You're an idiot. Clearly all the bugs have been fixed and are just our imagination!
The item "types" are there for guidance as to what bonuses they give (helmets give mana, gloves give damage, armors give armor/health). There is and should be no restriction on having multiples of a same type. As it is there's a pretty big restriction of not being able to get multiples of the same item....
[quote]Ok, that solution you offer pretty much guarantees that any multiplayer matchmaker you design or develop will fail. Really. Think about what you just said: You want a system that kicks players. Awesome idea. Now ask yourself this: How often are you going to play an MP game that kicks you out of a queue?[/quote] About as often as I'd play a game that deliberately creates matches with uneven amounts of players. Thank god for custom games.
.....what?
Ah but if she relies on it too much the Social Security might collapse and then she'll have nothing.
[quote]Would definitely be a general, with the ability to "birth" more children, which increases gold production, while decreasing gold production for the rest of her team.[/quote] They can also rob the item shop.
What about a cute frog with a frog helmet?
[quote]Need George Bush and Barack Obama as two new demigods, one has an airstrike and missile defense, the other has diplomacy and allows the single mother minions to level up for free.[/quote] And give your team free "bailout" currency upgrades.
Just stay away from Pantheon for now. It is not worth it.
[quote]Rage quit results in the inability to play online again for at least 15minutes[/quote] It already does that. Impulse bugs out and can't connect with your name and password! Somehow I don't think it's a feature though.
If by "Save game feature" you mean the ability to somehow save the game from being horrible after people leave, then sure, I'm all for it.

I'm afraid even bman couldn't fix all these bugs by himself.
[quote]No shit. It's almost as if the effectiveness of armor depends on how much of the damage you are taking is ability based.[/quote] And as Melric said, it's about how much you take until the "I better run" HP level. You're going to be hit with a frontload of ability damage in battle, followed by autoattacks, followed by more ability damage as the cooldowns finish. The priests immediately heal you after you take the frontload. (Assuming you were at full already)&n
[quote]As a practical matter, there is not a lot we can do to keep people who drop out of a game as soon as they discover what map or who they are playing with. [/quote] Of course there is - you can give them a loss. Matchmaking eventually takes care of the rest.
[quote]The system does not gaurantee N vs. N sides.[/quote] [quote]It balances both sides based on their XP. 2 good players vs. 3 new players and so forth. Don't assume just because you face 3 opponents that you're going to lose.[/quote] This is just insane. Demigod is certainly balanced for having an equal number of people on each side - that's why there are flags. Do the peopl
[quote]There's also a bug with auto attacking snared enemies. Ranged demigods will run to point blank on a demigod that's moving slower than them. I've lost a few games as regulus solely because he ran right up too a rook that could autoattack for 500 damage.[/quote] I've seen this too with Torchbearer. Right click a creep ever so slightly outside of your attack range and he'll start running toward the creep while firing, and won't stop moving until he's on top of th
Not on the minimap though, and that's really half of the problem.
