I thought the first thing always worked like that a while ago.
I thought that Pantheon games were starting anyways with a player less.
there have to be trade offs. lowering their xp value lower than grunts is way too much, maybe a lowering was in hand though
Yes, but the only trade off should be the GOLD used to buy them. There should not be secondary negative effects that ONLY the creep upgrades carry.
Oak and Erebus have minions which do not scale as much as Sedna nor QoT.
Oak's minions add to his attack damage. (Assuming you get that skill). They also have no pathing issues. They also suck tower hits to them and result in no aoe damage to the surrounding creeps and minions. Erebus' are FREE even if you don't put a single point into them. It's not a matter of scaling. It's a matter of usefulness. Minions as a whole suck.
You guys realize that they BUFFED THE EFFECT when they raised its price, right?
Use it before and it filled your bars. Use it now and it *REALLY* fills your bars! Pointless.

If anyone quits prior to launch the game should not start. If they quit while the game is loading they should get a loss.
This whole post and those supporting it boils down to you not wanting to be TOO challenged. You have, in your head, some weird and incorrect idea that you should only lose a certain amount and under certain circumstances. This is ridiculous. You either win or you lose. Put the blame on yourself.
But, ironically, the premades are doing the same. They won't notify the randoms they want to stomp because they too don't want to be too challenged

There's no arranged teams for skirmish and pantheon. If/when they add this (basic) functionality you will undoubtedly see a significant drop in the amount of custom premade teams.

When Skirmishes broke, I did not care, because I did not play Skirmish. When Pantheon broke, I did not care, because I did not play Pantheon. When I could not play a custom game I cried out in anguish, but there was no one left playing the game.
The number of enemy AOEs is probably the biggest factor - if they have a Torchbearer, a Regulus and a QoT then buying priests is just feeding them XP.
It's bad vs Oak too because he can get some big regen off killing the priests since they have much higher max hp than the minotaurs and archers.
Sounds very similar to the Team Fortress 2 nemesis system: when someone kills you repeatedly, the entire server is notified that Player X is Player X's nemesis. However, when you get revenge on that person even once, everyone is again notified accordingly. The reward in Team Fortress 2 is simply the pride of it all. In Demigod, extra gold/exp would be cool.
Only if they also add the Dominated sound effects and character specific taunts. Ex: Reg
What? Not at all. Every upgrade you buy has the chance of hurting you, in the sense that it may be useless and still costs you a lot of money.
Not true. Every upgrade except priests is permanently additive. Building health? Will never hurt you. Minion health? Never hurt you. Demigod exp boost? Never hurt you. Currency upgrade? Never hurt you. Finger of God? Never hurt you. If you are implyin
