*Deep breath* Normal. Always normal. Fast is garbage. Fast is stupid. Fast makes autoattack heroes like Regulus and UB dominate. You need time to use your skills. You can't interrupt anyone on fast. STOP PLAYING FAST.
The only custom setting i change is tower strength as they seem a little weak to me
*Deeper breath* STOP TURNING THE TOWER STRENGTH TO HIGH. It completely throws off the mechanics of
InfiniteVengeance
After watching Van Helsing about 8 or 9 times on TNT or FX (IT'S ALWAYS ON) I have come to only hold a general dislike for it.
What super awesome deluxe version?
There were super awesome deluxe versions of BG1 and 2 the last time I got them. I assume there is one for Torment as well. (That includes the best fan fixes and mods) If you search the usual places the super awesome deluxe versions are the ones with the most seeds. [e digicons][/e]
Not getting morale may not be a "real" minion build but it would probably be better....
Ha, found it. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/352218
There was a post a while ago with all the hidden stats revealed. Might be difficult to find though.
The thing that annoys me, is I can never find a copy of PlaneScape... so I missed out totally on what appears to have been a pretty good game
They don't exist anymore dude. Just get the super awesome deluxe version online. It's what I had to do with Baldur's Gate (I missed out on it back in the day) The modders have put together versions and bundles far superior to that of the original game, and they've fixed so much more. Don't feel g
Never. There is always a better use for your skill points. For assassins however stats is really good. For generals it's awful.
There are several reasons that comebacks are improbable. By late game, in order to stall a push, you need to have demigod parity at the push point. Towers become a non-issue (for defense), so unlike the beginning of the game, you can't use a tower to force a stalemate. If you need demigod parity to just stall a push, then you cannot spare someone to start recapping the map. I personally think that every demigod should have to be in range of a tower in order to d
Same with Rook dropping the hammer. Or rolling his rock (he could roll the rock and flip you off in one smooth motion)
Combat was irrelevant to its awesomeness.
I have to say I don't see what you are talking about and perhaps feel this is an attempt to introduce the masses here to Planescape:Torment?
Good idea, too.
Use Ice Rain.
BUT BUT BUT THe Parasite Egg will do it all for you
Parasite Egg is a piece of crap, and costs a lot of gold to boot.
Not if you CAPTURE LOCK IT...and you can stay there until they come to force you out ... and farm creeps meanwhile..
Capture locks costs money, you can't spam them ALL the time. If you stay there you can't farm creeps. Duh. Unless you're talking about the middle flag in Cataract. And only with certain heroes.
Exactly. In a real sport, you stay and play because you're still having fun and using skills.
If you're getting brutalized in a real sport it's not fun. It's the same in Demigod, you can still use skills while losing. In fact, it's probably better training.
I agree. No one ever *fights* over flags. They just run there after the other people leave, because they're not just going to stand by the flags to defend them. If you run up to a flag with 2 heroes you can get it to contested before anyone can teleport in. And why would they teleport to a flag, it's just a flag. They'll just come recap it after you leave. And so on and so on until all you're doing is running from flag to flag. You know what I think
I'm betting it server split. They won the "real" game.
FYI I dont get HOL and I do very well in this game
You would do better if you got one every game.
HoL is not cost effective. That over 4k that could go to an artifact.
Each use of the Heart of Life is equivalent to multiple potions that cost 275+ gold each. You make your money back in minutes. Usually you aren't even using it for the life, but the MANA. Every hero uses abilities. Heart of Life allows y
What I don't seem to understand is... how all of you just meet ONE guy who successfully carries his team in such a manner, and start to cry foul. You don't try it yourself, you don't try making a counter. You just go on the forums and cry your eyes out demanding a fix.
You cannot repick your hero once you're in the game. If you do not have high powered aoe (aka if you are not torchbearer) you cannot kill a SWARM of priests. Not even with que
First of all, this "exploit" requires a lot of gold. You don't earn more gold than your opponent by sitting there, you earn gold by killing your opponent. You wouldn't have faced this exploit if you managed to keep them from earning enough gold to perform this Second of all, the gold used by them to summon this fragile army that is completely useless against any AoE attack means they can't use this gold to buy better gear.
Heart of Life is several kills worth of gold. The fact that they need one and you don't helps balance things out. Besides, angels pretty much negate the HoL.
You don't get a Heart of Life so you can camp out in front of their base. You get a Heart of Life every single game for every hero because it's the best item in the game. Angels don't negate it if you're competent.
You shouldn't have let it get destroyed in the first place.
You do know there are innumerable ways to destroy towers that you cannot stop? Snipe spam from the fountain is a good one. Snipe can hit towers you know. Last Stand Oak is another. Literally - you can do nothing. Then there's the plentiful ways you can "stop" but in reality you aren't going to be able to. Torchbearer rain of ice can hit towers from very far away.
Only if rebuilding it costs gold equal to the amount of health the tower will have.
6000+ gold for a SINGLE tower? That's crazy.
