that might be the reason. The other team stuck together most of the time and split up to cap flags when they trashed one of us. I must start playing in teams too. :P

Is it just my impression that the amount of bitching in custom games is far greater than in skirmish or pantheon games? I seldomly play custom games but just now I had a QoT team member that constantly cursed our Oak because he didn't shield his ass. I read stories of foul mouthed know-it-alls all the time here, but since I never met mates like this I thought you were exagerating. :) And now, first custom game since weeks and I get my first I'm-3-levels-below-y
as much as i appreciate the hard work you've done, and the certain pieces of useful information that have come out of it (such as DPS contribution of shoulder upgrades on a single target), i don't at all think the comparisons of total DPS in your analysis are especially useful due to certain oversights.
keep to the passive skill dps. In that case there are no oversights. The numbers are solid and the conditions where those
If you restrict the calculations to passive skills then armor doesn't matter that much. Both DGs have comparable armor/health stats and are roughly equivalent. Items can be bought by both, so they don't matter. Only when including non-mitigated skills you have to factor armor in. And I just calculated the effect of 3 spits over 21 seconds and the effect of 2 wraths over 20 seconds. I forgot that wrath has a 15 second cooldown, though, so the dps will tip a bit into spit
I reported it as a bug months ago. Got zero reaction in the problem report forum so I posted it here. Once everyone notices that Sedna is unkillable people might scream loud enough to prompt a reaction. Btw. to fix that error you need to expend about 1 minute of work. Someone paypal GPG 2 dollars so they an afford to pay the manhour expenses. Plus tip&taxes. And yes, the "bug" is still part of demigod with 1.1 patch.
uh...what would happen if you factored in Spit instead of Bestial Wrath. Wrath is like 100% useless and requires some absurdly high base weapon damage to outperform spit. last time i crunched numbers comparing those two skills i found that it takes something like 450 base weapon DPS (thats per second, not per swing) for Wrath to be better. in other words its not even close until you're already like level 18 with Ashkandor. skill is al
After clicking the "Multiplayer" button on the main screen the I have to wait over a minute before I even see the login dialog.
Rook doesn't need melee for his damage. He can run around behind towers and still tear things up with a trebuchet. The fact that he also does high melee damage is sort of after the fact. Not that he has the speed to kite forever, but if we are going to number crunch this out then you have to factor in armor and health of both, along with the fact that abilities (hammer slam) are unmitigated by armor. Armor is too big of a factor by then.
That's right, I totally forgot armor. Looks like there's no chance of triggering acclimation with standard attacks after all. Unless we co
So, who is the melee master? And what matters most - attack rate or weapon damage? I crunched some numbers and came to the conclusion, that IT DEPENDS. But see for yourself. I'm using this table as base for calculations: (Correction: Rook's starting armor is 240 - not 440 like stated in the above table.) Thi

I once had a game with an inexperienced Sedna player. We lost the game partly because of him buying priests early. Nothing new, so I told him that doing so is not exactly a winning strategy. To my surprise he apologized for letting me down and admitted not knowing Sedna inside out yet. This was proof for me that he was a noob. Experienced players might play as bad as him, but they usually give you the STFU routine when you dare criticize their stellar performance. :)

Some posts are so dumb that it's almost certainly a troll post made to goad others into replying. I don't have any experience with Blade of the Serpent. But from the description it looks like you have to be in active combat to get your mana while you can activate EoM whenever you need. I don't know what else to say when I state that you barely ever run out of mana when giving UB the EoM. I initially thought that advantage was awesome enough. I played UB with Spit, Foul Grasp and Ooze ... and later I even add Beastial wrath. And I don't feel a pressing need to buy a helmet, w
yeah, the benefit of that thing is hard to sell. but bottom line is that you simply don't run out of mana most of the time. 45 seconds sound like much but it isn't, because unless you are constantly spamming spells a 45 second intervall is quite sufficient for a spit/ooze playstyle to greatly extend your staying power. And what most people forget is that EoM enables you to use skills even when out of mana. And it simply doesn't matter how much mana you need. EoM works
hahaha, great tutorial. :D but you also have to explain how to control your demigod: press 1 for skill 1 press 2 for skill 2 press 3 for skill 3 press 4 for skill 4 Use mouse press CTRL-ALT-F4 to enable cheat mode.
pressing CTRL lets you target demigods only. might be an idea to also highlight them when pressing that key.
and it happened since forever.
