But people ARE assholes, lots of them, ESPECIALLY on the internet where there's very little real life repercussions.
And most of all: The attacker doesn't even have to be a regular user. Just guy looking for a place from where to start his attacks.
<br

if sounds are the only thing you worry about, then you're mightily easygoing. Let's just say that if anyone choose to, they could bring your pc to a standstill, attack the dg server or even get you to jail, depending on your countries laws. In germany some asshole politicians want to implement a regulation that immediatly starts preliminary proceedings against you just for opening certain websites in your browser (that's supposed to protect someone from child pornography, I'm
The reason this map is terrible is that there is only one way that leads to the enemy citadel. That path is easily cut off and right next to their health crystal. I'll explain why this is HORRIBLE map design in story form: The teams: My team was Reg, Rook, Erebus, Oak
If you are practically standing in front of their citadel then here's how to win in about 2 minutes: Reg&Rook hold the chokepoin

Played 4 games online after the 6-10-2009 patch. Every single one suffered from massive lags. It's not that the ping of others was especially high (although my chatting coplayers claimed otherwise), but the game was stop'n'go. On the positive side connecting to games never went as smooth before. Anyone have similar experiences ?

I guess that was taken up by UB I do like the back-story for the DGs, and I sometimes wished that some of their voice animations could relate to their back story (beyond Senda asking her cat for protection). Every single one of Torchies quotes relates to his lore, th

I get into skirmish games quite fast and often. But 4 out of 4 games had incredible lag .... stop'n'go games. Wasn't my fault, I rebooted after the second game. Might be bad luck in pairing up with the wrong guys .... but then the successful connections might haven been lucky, too.
I haven't tried this, but in terms of inventory space, you're saying this is better than just getting a Vlemish helm, then Anklets or Blood of the Fallen for favor?
Yes, because this thing allows you a mana intensive playing style all the time without having to heavily invest in mana items. EoM scales while the BotF bonus diminishes over time (it's still great though).

Just won a tournament with TB on hard and saw the victory animation. Ok, I know TB's tragic lore but that ending surprised me a bit: He gets reunited with his dead beloved and sheds his anger and thirst for revenge. Thus he becomes the God of Mercy and Reconciliation. I kinda expexted the usual cheesy "... and a reign of terror swept over the world ..." thing. Nice.

Using Favor item Staff of Renewal , which grants a 20% cooldown reduction bonus. Ring of Fire has a length of 7 seconds and a cooldown of 7 seconds. However, you can't cast the second Ring of Fire while the first one is still active. You see the animation, the ring flares up, then douses again. The spell fizzled but the cooldown timer resets, making wait again for 7 seconds. And I think you still pay the mana.
My memory seems to tell me that heroes could only launch their default 'magic bolt/lightning' attacks as long as they had mana. Arcane heroes use their mana pool both for spells and ranged attacks. Another tactical choice, although that choice is eas
No this isn't gong to be MoM2, but who cares. I'm willing to pay 30€ again for another 8 demigods. And I'm only saying that because 30€ is quite cheap for a new game in germany ... you usually fork over 50€ for new full price titles in a store.

Awesome particle effects. Incredible detail for all demigods and their skills. Just check out my slow-motion videos and you'll see the effort they put into even the little details.
Those are good points but the OP still did a good job. It would be very productive of you to do the research yourself and add it to a cool thread. Otherwise you should at least give the OP some more credit for some good research. If you don't do that you look rather petty.
Thank you, I was already asking myself if I did something bad. Nevertheless keep in mind that while BotF seems superior on paper it doesn't show

Demigod can support height levels, too, but doesn't offer maps right now. Once they do the strategic possibilties on those maps will be most interesting. E.g. Rook can't jump down a (relatively) steep slope, but UB and Sedna can climb it. And while they can't climb down cliffs, Erebus can bat swarm down. Interesting prospects, but if the height levels are too large the maps will lose their clearness.
