This is clearly a caster items for mana hogs like TB, you say ? And Blood of the Fallen is the best item, which even I say ? The Ooze UB build recognizes the weakness of UB, which is his low mana base and his expensive skills, like Bestial Wrath and Foul Grasp. Sure, oozing UBs are very strong, but

vs First, BotF is very good, especially for it's price. But how good is it really when compared to a strong starting dps equipment? I was curious about how BotF would measure up against dps items and calculated around a bit with the
I can't post messages on the demigod forum. The "create posts" button is missing. I also don't get the quick answer section on the bottom of threads. Doesn't matter which browser I use. Strangely when using a secondary test account, all features are there. I messaged about every moderator I know and got ignored by all but Kryo, who doesn't have a clue. He told me to ask frogboy instead, who I couldn't reach as yet. Sadly even Kryo wasn't able to contact frogboy, who seems to b
In Elemental, you start out with one and only one unit - your Channeler (aka your leader). I am 148% positive that we'll be able to customize our Channelers to at least the same level as in MoM.
Interesting. Guess we'll have to wait for more info. I also just remembered that leaders in GC2 could be customized. Anyway, it looks rather like Elemental will be to MoM what Galactic Civilizations was to Master of Orion 2. From my perspective that's a bleak prospe

I notice that no one mentions which parts of Elemental are supposed to be like MoM. Or what exactly makes Elemental a spiritual successor to MoM. Just some details I picked up that make me doubt any connection between the two: MoM has 14 races. Elemental has 2. MoM has several race specific units for every race and common units (like spearmen) benefit from race statistics. Elemental let's you equip some grunt with equipment to build whatever unit you want. <br

No cheat. Just weird match options. Room for improvement, too. Edit: Just uploaded a vid to youtube. This time with UB. <em
But there are economic realitities involved with that. People make this false assumption that companies want customers at any cost. That's not the case. Stardock is best known for developing "niche" strategy games like Galactic Civilizations and publishing "niche" RTS's like Sins of a Solar Empire. This is not a coincidence. Our goal isn't to have the largest possible customer base. Our goal is to have the kind of cust
Before we knew the name (Elemental), we all used to jokingly call it the not-MoM. A long long time ago (but in a nearby galaxy), Stardock wanted to buy rights to MoM to make a sequel, but rumor has it whoever's lawyers (Atari was it that published MoM?) killed the deal. So Stardock said "Well, screw that. We'll just make our own then!". So yes, it's definitely influenced by Master of Magic, but it's not-MoM
so i heard,
whoops, wrong subforum. moved.
I started noticing Elemental after I heard that Stardock was looking into developing a sequel to one of my most favorite game - Master of Magic. Apparently they didn't get the rights to the name and so chose to make their own thing. I keep hearing that it's very similar to MoM, although n
