LH has the ability to upgrade armor, weapons and the number of individual units per squad. There are also some troops I have seen the AI make that scared the hell out of me as they eat through my well upgraded defenders if I let them get a couple attacks on them.

Seriously complaining that the animations are detailed enough? My complaint would be the opposite, if they didn't have the ability to speed up the animations. Spending too much time on animations slows game play down on a game that is already a long haul type of game.
I agree. Frankly it annoys me when the pathing goes around the AI's territory even when we do NOT have a non aggression pact. The AI certainly doesn't seem to have any compunction about walking through my land!
If we have to do that can we at least have a waypoint system where we tell it to take the first step in and then go to where we want it eventually? It gets bad when you have 20 pioneers that all want t
I will chime in on this as well. Thanks a lot for LH. It's the game WoM should have been. It's much more fun and engaging. You kept my trust. I will keep buying stardock games and recommending them as well.
I have been razing cities instantly. I also have seen no instances of AI cheating so far in LH as I had seen in the 2 previous games. Maybe they are there, I just haven't seen them yet.
If it's intended, it's crappy. Two groups not at war with each other should be able to pass each other civilly on a road. It's been done for thousands of years. The English did the pass each other on the right in order to show that each side had their weapon hand empty. That's why they drive on the left hand side of the road. Editing out the multiplayer part. I never paid attention to that as I don't have any friend that play.
What is the deal here. We have a non-aggression pact and I have to go 6 turns out of my way to go 2 squares? How could this make it live?
If the enemy has an outpost inside the influence of a city and you take the outpost first, when you take and raze the city, the outpost's influence stays distorted by the city's influence even though it's no longer there. Saving and restarting the game seems to be the only way to fix this. I had one with influence shaped like a panhead screw and another that only had the square it was located on as influence. Easy to duplicate. The AI enemy had a full gro
I just tried to load up a game I was playing single player and was over 20 hours into in Rebellion. Steam automatically updated the game making my old save game obsolete. This is very poor planning on the developer's part. Single player save games should never become obsolete, and multi player save games should only have it happen if there was an exploit that needed fixing. However, it has happened. Is there any way to make that old save playable?
Ahhh thanks.
Removed the ability for Flagships to bomb planets. This was unbalancing Capital Victory with early rush sniping that players couldn
I will say I found this thing to be pretty damned powerful. I hit a level 10 version with 6 capitol ships 3 starbases(it was at a sun) and about 20 carriers. 20 minutes later I lost a capitol ship and brought the rest of my fleet in to kill it. This thing had no support and did this. I did figure out a counter since it came back as level 10 a few more times in the game. I am not sure it needs a nerf, but it is something that players will need to figure out how to
Another issue is often units will not follow the shortest path without you forcing it. Here is a prime example. They follow the river and not the road that's right next to them.
Have seen this once with multiple units attacking one of my cities and a couple times with units running in place. The running in place units have movement left. One of those times the running in place units were trying to run right through an enemy stack. I found this out after reload.
I see this and the reverse a lot. There are places I have no units/structures and yet I can see fine there. Other places I run my hero right next to a spot and don't see anything until movement stops and some times not even then. This is especially true when using roads.
I had a level 6 get a second path upon level up.
I have to agree with the OP. I have no clue what to do to fix the nasty monster spawn problem, but shouldn't the opponent have to deal with the same problems I am? If my pioneer goes close to even a wimpy monster it dies. Why does the AI get a free pass? I can see this being a way for the AI to be tougher at higher difficulties but playing normal and lower, they should have to fight the environment right along with me.
First off, great job on this game. This is what War of Magic should have been. The memory leak issue that was in WoM seems to be gone in FE. These are in 0.914 -Dragon Eye quest - The first time I tried to do this I hit the statue that sent you all over and got that eye, then I eventually ran into the one where you turn both in. A couple hours later I found the other one and could not interact with it. My heroes just acted like there was nothing t
1.2 and still having OOM errors. Going to try this now to see if I can finish a game. Stardock, any ETA on a fix?
I just recently installed the game again and updated since there was a new update. And I am still getting out of memory errors. Is there any plan to fix this problem? I am going to go try to find the "temporary fix" that someone posted a while back to up the memory limit since emailing your support with my information and debug files didn't help at all. The error is very easy to replicate. Play the game for a few hours. The larger the map the fast
Am I the only one with a problem with the mega map? In 1.09n I was ending up in the same spot every time with no food nearby. It would crash within 3 turns. Now in 1.09p I think I figured out why. I spawn with no food nearby in the same spot. I explored for quite a while summer 191 with both the Sov and Janusk. The only thing I found was Relias with one outpost built with nothing nearby. There has been nothing at all but the 3 forest tiles I s
Funny my AD&D v1.0 books have a teleport spell in them. We could make it a portal...
I am still getting OOM errors as well. The timing seems similar to yours. Win 7 64 bit is common. I am running Nvidia video however. I have been regularly sending logs to the support address for well over a month and they still closed my ticket.
This is amusing but really should be fixed.
