I wonder how differently Frogboy's perception would be if he'd just had an intern read the boards every day and type up synopses of the most commonly recurring discussions/flames without having to trudge through them himself.
I don't think that's a healthy system. The person in charge should be able to see the true output of his or her customers. It's just that on the internet, even
I thought this too. But never forget, that many games where released ARENT BUGGED OR IMBALANCED( In earlier times...!). I mean today there arent so many of this kind. but for example on a console (N64, Gamecube and so on...) there was no support - Because there was no need! The thing I wanna say is, that if they made the games without bugs and network problems, there wouldnt have been a need for the last 2-3 months of support. Got it?
<
Wow. This is lame. Don't you depend on the health of the online community in your games in order to sell copies? And you have given up due to some emotionally-driven personal lapse in rational thinking (ragequit, if you will)?
Actually, no he doesn't. Demigod has been on the bestseller list long enough for Stardock and GPG to have made plenty of money on it. They really could have walked away f

Hmmm. I dunno if Legend of Dragoon aged well (or if playing it through at this age, I'd still even like it), but I've always been a fan of Breath of Fire III. Naturally, Ape Escape should make the list.

What are the supposed builds of the sedna/UB combo? Does sedna get minions? Does UB get Ooze? If not, I would reccommend one of you play a general (any general) and go for a minion build. I've found Oak to be useful myself, as well as Erebus, but I don't play a good QoT or Sedna, so I can't really comment on them. The thing about tower rook is that he holds well in early game, but sucks terribly in the later stages, when the other 3 Demis are most likely blooming. Thus

Most likely. The fact that it is 3 years old means it is not of the newest modem type (I believe the current is the G series? Correct me if I'm wrong.) Not only do the newer modems have securer, simpler connections, they tend to run a little faster. However, could you do a test on speedtest.net and see if your problem might be caused by a low upload rate? What connectivity issues do you have, exactly?

ZehDon, while I know you're more interested in PS1 games, I really should re-iterate: Shadow of the Colossus is a truly awesome game. It's one of the few games out there that told a story in such a way as could not be rendered by a book or movie. If you can handle PS2 emulation on your computer, I highly recommend it.Also, if you can find it on E-bay for $0.99, Machine Head is a game that is so truly awful that it's good.

I think what is trying to be said is that 350 ping can be acceptable provided it is stable. However, in every system there can be bugs or tweaks that cause the MS to increase, thus lagging the game. I'll personally always play with 350- ping, but to each his own.

Quite frankly, if people posted like this every few days that I didn't send them word that I was working, I'd actually abandon them. With all these chickens running around claiming the sky has fallen, I'm surprised their noise hasn't knocked a rafter loose.

Well for starters, you mentioned the difference between what GPG and Stardock are able to accomplish. So what exactly is it that Stardock can do? By the looks of it, netcode is GPG's issue, which is fine. Can you guys modify gameplay? Create new Demigods? There are a thousand things I would like to see implemented (and would certainly pay DLC prices for, unlike many other games), but first we (the community) need to know what is a feasable request, so as to combat the constant spammag

Or they use their superior power/speed, to control the map.
These same characters also happen to have effective enough lane control and tower destruction that I doubt this would be a problem. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make isn't UB's versus Rook/whatever. The point is the (often lost) potential of AoE buil
