Dude, no one hates you [e digicons]:P[/e] Hell, plenty of us have already commented on how much we love your ideas. We just disagree with this one.

Grats on having your very own love post, Alien :P Now all we need to do is get you a hate thread... But does anyone hate the Alien? Hmm...
Also making him vulnerable to AoE during mist wouldn't really be all that fair against a DG like rook whose primary damage combo (hammer+boulder) is Aoe.
This would just get him stomped by so many people... Agreed, bad idea.
I played a bit more with HoN and even submitted some bugs ... and then I found out that they were features .......... You know Demigod or any other RTS game, ok? Soon after release some balance changes happen, often leaving the cool parts nerfed. Not HoN! HoN is nerfed from the start!! For example: You have to destroy the enemy buildings, right? So it makes perfect sense to ... make buildings im
One might consider this: Erebus has to put points into TWO trees for maximum rollie effectiveness, whereas Oak can do so with one tree (and a single point in another, if he so desires). This is why Oak's summons are not as effective as Erebus's.
I hear HoN sucks. But back to the point. Has any progress been made?
Demigod is one. There's the "real" way to play Demigod, rushing straight into your opponent and fighting like most PuGs, and then there's running around the map capping everything in sight. It's more effective than you'd think.
What's with the hate for Erebus all of a sudden? You kids need to get over the Horn build and move on to hating regulus or something again.
" reply="8" id="2314368"]I play without towers at all. Seriously. But thats just me. Everyone else swears by towers. I personally find them boring as hell cos no-one comes near you, and you need them to get cocky so you can unleash slam up close and personal. Its truely priceless to go into 1v2 and come walking away with a 'double-smite' or more.
QFT. I quite frequently play an utterly towerless rook, though I've picked them up on occ
Frankly, I think a lot of us just want a chance for some players to hang out with the Frog :P
I'd just like to note that I've been able to autoattack while in Angel Form-- is it some specific level where it stops? Also, I'd like to note that someone (I think it was Frogboy) once stated that the goal of Demigod was to make every character feel overpowered. So if you get killed by snipe and it seems rediculous, consider your own skills. (this goes hand in hand with playing every demigod repeatedly before saying he/she is overpowered)
I think what many women on the interwebs forget is that most of us, quite frankly, really couldn't care less.
Then people will whine about not being in the top 10-20, I would imagine.
I don't understand how so many people can decide they have the right to complain when Stardock offered FULL REFUNDS for weeks after having purchased the game. The major bugs were fixed, the latest patch is impressively recent, and we are always informed by the moderators. I agree with Don, and it isn't rabid zealotry. It's common sense. If you really feel Demigod isn't going anywhere, by all means. DotA and HoN are free. Maybe when you're gone we can actually get somewhere on these forums.
Mmm, yes. After having done some tests, I realize I hadn't taken enough into account of Sedna's autoattack damage (which frankly, is pretty wicked.) Heal sedna does get more longevity in a straight-up fight. My mistake.
The Legend of Zelda, Majora's Mask: Navi, a.k.a., "HEY! LISTEN! HEY! LISTEN!" Just about any great game: The Protect Mission. No, really, just take the gun away from the NPC. I don't need him shooting himself in the head. Team Fortress 2: 10 year olds on the mic. Not this game in particular problems, but... I dunno, children annoy me. Half-Life 2: Loading screens every few seconds. Perhaps unavoidable with the game's format, but still annoying. Portal: Wonderful game, but too
This would be interesting. Agreed.
I'm going to have to agree with Shadow; most of the recommended changes are rather silly, and show why balancing a game can be so damned difficult. As an example, I would disagree with all of the Erebus nerfs. He's hardly my favorite character, I'm more of a Rook guy myself, but he's simply not OP. Batswarm is not only an escape, it's an EXPENSIVE escape. 700 mana at level 5 is nothing to sneeze at, and often means that after you run away you have very little alternative tricks, and will be p
It's not that you could live indefinitely off monks per se, but rather it relates to a basic mathematical problem involving multiplication. If I take two numbers, which, when added must equal a total of 100, which two numbers should I pick, so that multiplying them gets the greatest return? The answer is 50 and 50. Similarly one must balance damage and healing. The best total damage before death requires an equal amount of self healing and opponent damaging capabilities. Takin
I can hardly consider this a big deal. It could use some work, but there are just more pressing bugs to be fixed/changes to be implemented at the moment [e digicons]X|[/e]
Huh, I cannot reply for some reason. But this one struck me. Also, Superman is boring and pathetic. A hero without flaws is boring. At least Batman has some intriguing mental issues, along with the veritable armada of crazed psycho-crooks he plays around with. What does Superman have? Darkseid? Luthor? *yawn*. One sided characters, how lame, though Luthor is a bit better than most. Actually, in the timeline wherein Superman and Batman DID fight, Superman's true weakness was his poor
People use Uproot?
Hmm, maybe it didn't age well, but it was, for it's time, a very impressive game. I'd give it a go if it was on sale.
I like demigod. That´s a fact. But I won´t vote a game for "best strategy game", which isn´t a strategy game at all. In my mind it is an action-rpg-tactic game. There´s no strategy involved in this game. You level and gain money by slaying opponents like in any other RPG. You chosse different skills in different pathes like in other ation-rpg´s like Diablo. There´s no base building, you only c
