I've played QoT many times and agree that mode changing is a rather nasty thing to master. There are times when I went to open mode to cast Ground Spikes, only to have my bramble shield broken by some burst damage combo. The delay in going back to closed mode to cast bramble shield seemed like an eternity. Trying to switch between the two forms to juggle the skills to cast on the situation also prevents her from performing her normal attacks. Which is another thing to take into accoun

Don't worry man, we haven't played much the past few days. CitizenKane2 still has trouble connecting. I look forward to mroe games in future, especially with the planned proxy servers.
Like Ke5trel mentioned, it would be a lot better if you would communicate your reason for leaving the game before hand, or even to inform them that you concede. That said, there was a game where one team mate left due to a disconnect (happened during the loading screen) and my remaining team mate and I asked the other team repeatedly if we can just discount this game and create a new one. There was no reply. I so just coordinated with my team mate to leave the game together such that
We have a startgame lobby you can get into when you join a game. You see the other player's names and choice of DGs. You see their pings. You don't see their records, experience, rank, location, sim speed, or karma. You have no way to whisper to your team before the game starts. After a game is over you are popped back out into the game selection screen.
You can do this, actually. Click on the player's name

Since last Friday's patch, it has been impossible for me to connect online. It's hard to recommend Demigod to anyone really - you won't be able to tell whether you can connect online before purchase; and even if you can connect online, you won't know whether that will change with the next patch. Hi there, welcome to the community. Here's to get you started: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/332105 It covers the basics of Demigod gameplay. You could also take a look at your Demigod PDF manual that comes installed with the game. Good luck! [e digicons][/e]
No such thing as killstealing in a teamgame like Demigod, the same was true for Dota, anybody who played it beyond Pubs knows that it really doesn't matter who gets the kill as long as the enemy gets killed; especially since Demigod has the relatively recent Dota feature of assists, which means you get a nice chunk of gold anyway, and I'm pretty sure the exp recieved is the same across the board.
My apologies first, as I'm about to make

It means the game state is corrupted. Players are no longer observing a consistent state. Things could be happening on your screen that isn't happening on another player's. You might as well restart the game when you see this because the desync message is annoying as hell and because there's little point in continuing to play with a corrupted game state.
Unfortunately, though the patch mentioned that this was supposed to be fixed. I've encountered this numerous times during my last game. It caused me to fail to kill a running enemy Demigod and fail to heal a dying teammate.
I can't believe what I'm seeing...it's HENTAI KAMEN!!!! EPIC!

Especially the humor, as all the acting was awesome in my opinion.
I'll second this. However, special effects aside, and despite how I still managed to enjoy this one, there had been better Star Trek movies.

I've heard that the official release of Demigod in SG will be on the 24th May so hopefully there'll be an influx of players at that point in time. I too am waiting for that date to arrive so I can make my purchase and join u guys. Till then do wait for all the noobs and don't get too good Hope to see you guys online soon!
You guys seem to be forgeting that uproot is not channeling, you can cast and forget it while rook has to get right up on the tower and take hits to deal his damage. Try maxing uproot damage with compost (which does not require you to get the kills as someone suggested, but merely be near grunts that die) then doing a hit and run strategy. Uproot has longer range than the tower so you can cast it at the beginning of a wave
Not that I know of. The potions and scrolls are pretty much instant effect pick ups. I can imagine it's this way by choice of design so that Demigods cannot horde potions and become that much harder to stop. Combat health/mana potions would become less cost effective. Besides, the usual need to "save them for later" leaves the potions and scrolls open for anyone to take. Your own "death potion" could save your own hide later on.

Supreme Commander (with which Demigod's engine is sharing) has this already. I hope it isn't too difficult to do it in Demigod too.

Naz: I think you misunderstood me, though you seemed to have developed an interesting idea yourself. :) What I wanted was to do away with the existence of upper tier idols of the same kind, and replace them with a whole new set of useful idols. What we have now: Melee Type Tier 1 to 4 Ranged Type Tier 1 to 4 Healer Type Tier 1 to 4 What I am suggesting: Melee Type Ranged Type Healer Type Amo
