I don't think she was designed to be a brawler and I therefore simply do not use her as such. Her strengths lie more in support and pushing then in DG killing. She causes trouble for the enemy team not in killing their team mates but in keeping her own team mates alive, large AoE armour reduction and tower downing. That, for me, is her secret. You're simply forcing her to fill a role she wasn't designed for.
SyDaemon
I think the control key to filter out creeps in selection highlighting can be improved by causing all DGs to be highlighted in the same way when you hold down control.
Call me silly but isn't there already a screen in the options where you can rebind all of the hotkeys? What keys can't you bind? (Excluding the Alt-Right click attack move which was a spill over from Supreme Commander).
You're confused, Sinzer. The counter points to your argument still stands. The gold and experience reward for killing enemy Demigods is a core game mechanic. Quite like how killing other players earn you money in counterstrike. It is to create an incentive to both kill and not be killed. The team has to work together to look out for each other to prevent feeding. Like you said, Doom was back in the day, and a very different game. Doom's focus was the single player mode and not competi
Youre some kinda idiots. If from the beginning there would have been no bugs and no connection problems (also no imba things), there wouldnt have been ANY patch till now.
His tone and poor expression not withstanding, his point is correct. It's no secret that the game suffered from crippling issues on launch. However, it was because Stardock step out and took the flak, and communicated with the community on how they know the issues and what they're doing to solve them,
Oh wow they removed the items instead of fixing them? ahahaahahahaha, it's gonna be like the heart of life nerf all over again.
No they didn't. They're temporarily disabling them until they're properly rebalanced.
This is definitely also a pet peeve I have. Generals do need better UI feedback to manage the minions still around. This will either be patched or modded in due time, I'm sure.
At the moment, you cannot auto fill with Nightmare AI and have to set them individually. An inconvenience to be sure. It has been reported before and I'm pretty sure we'll see this patched in soon enough.
His weaknesses are hilarious enough for me. [e digicons][/e]
It's equally unfair to give a poor AI to any team. I say between the two, what was implemented is best - leaving the AI replacement level as a configurable option before the game starts.
When mods are supported, this kind of changes can be modded in as an option people can use.
http://ufoai.sourceforge.net/ If you were a fan of the classic X-Com series, you might want to give this a whirl. I got hooked when I did. It's incomplete, unfortunately.
Can you be more specific about what happened? You've definitely confused us as there's no replay screen in Demigod yet. Also, make sure your drivers are up to date.
Nice to see another player from our side of the globe :P If you're so inclined, you can join us in using XFire. Here're the list of asian players listed one page back, courtesy of VoodooKing: 1) VoodooKing (Impulse username, GAX VoodooKing) 2) GodSlayer (Impulse username, GAX aaron80) 3) skcomics (Impulse username) 4) raym0ndp0h (Impulse username) 5) kons45 (Impulse username) 6) Namieamuro777 (Impulse username) 7) Kelvintyk (Impulse userna
This level of support is a fan's dream come true. Definitely looking forward to it all. One thing I wish to say is, don't rush things. If things can't be in on time, so be it. I, for one, am more than willing to be patient and wait for the polish.
You probably right clicked the idol icon on the shop instead of the one in your inventory.
Teamwork is already rewarding enough. The more people you have fighting against a demigod, the higher the chances of killing them, which means they will be dead for ~30 seconds (and away from the lane for longer than that) and not get any experience or gold from their mines, while you continue to do so. There is no need to give people such huge rewards for minimal contributions.
What about the Sedna who healed the team mate at the last minute but dealt no damage
Hi BlingBlang, Check this out: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350483 It's a thread where we tried rallying Singaporean players together. Most of us are now using XFire to setup games and check to see who's online. There are asian players, you just have to be patient to wait for them. If you can't find Hong Kong players, games with Australians and Japanese are great too. Pings are usually 200-ish for them.<
He does have really nice ideas but it takes time to implement some stuff into a game and you still need to test it before releasing it.
That's very true. It takes a lot more than ideas to make a game or its expansion. Also, if he was a dev, much of his time would be spent designing and implementing solutions to ideas that aren't his own, but the game designer's.

Furthermore, I don't agree that general's minions should give XP when killed. This would turn the minions into a liability, which negates the point of having minions as part of the general's abilities.
Not really. All this makes sure of is that you can't cheese minion swarms and auto attack. You have to actually do cost/benefit analysis when you use them. This would cause people to actually micro and manage their minions a great deal more, actually adding depth t
Now at Ver 2.0.172.37. The problem still stands.
As you can see from the statistics, QoT sucks.
I see from the stats that you've done the most damage of your team, captured the most flags, destroyed the most buildings and even has the most favour points of your team. I don't understand how this sucks?
Just be glad you don't play DOTA.
Itchy is right. DotA (being dominated by more youthful players) has a lot more of such kinds of anti-social behaviour. Bad mouthing is in almost every game. There was even this once my own teammate decided that we were not worth playing with, and started rushing into enemy territory and dropping all his recipe gear (the high end stuff) before letting himself get killed. It's just atrocious, but there is nothing stopping him from
There is a new genre name coined first (as far as I know) by the creators of League of Legends for this type of gameplay. They called it MOBA: Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. I guess we can call it that.
First impressions: The entire concept of the game is a rip off of Warcraft: Frozen throne player made mod games.
That for a first impression is probably correctly. However, the OP has already mentioned that he does not have DotA experience. On a closer look, Demigod has numerous differences that sets it apart from them. Besides, aren't those maps just rips offs from each other, and from the early Aeon of Strife and Three Corridors maps? One can sa
