Well I remember debating that the Soviets and Cubans are not savages with people.

Honestly we are talking about a lot of materials. How much materials is irrelovent because I don't know where to get that much material. Maybe you could use a replicator. I'm not going to spend the time to calculate how much material we need. I'm not sure. Do you think I have any reason to argue with you about calculations. i know that Jupiter is about 80,000 kilometers in diameter. My reading of a Dyson swarm in wikipedia was that the swarm was one circular orbit of

Since we are talking the Dutch did you know they prefer to be called Neitherlanders. At least that is what I'm guessing what the spelling of the word they use.LOL I'm dutch, and the penis word is actually LUL, so no, we don't get confused with LOL An
I agree Sins did it well. That is my point is that games do this with no problem. Honestly I don't see how this could be a lot of work. You will probably rarely do this. Honestly how often do your ships level up. Mine take awhile.
I'm curious how does Star control compare to Galactic civilizations in the kind of game it is. I would like to hear a contrasts and compare.
Darca civics is an option by itself to be more in depth than governments has more to do than just the private sector or just rebellions it really is a standalone option. Well the research was half right, but there is an idea to also to combine tech research with multiple factions. Different paths to the same tech. Tech points to decide how techs are researched if you have multiple techs at the same time. You could also loan you you factories to help others bui
Wait are you telling me that people making Fallen enchantress and Sins of a solar empire could have anything to contribute.
Quoting admiralWillyWilber, reply 61Well I have three reasons why
Well the reason I what you called ignored your statement is because you brought up that a planet doesn't release light it releases infered radiation. The reason I didn't answer this is that your technically right in that a planet relwases infared, but infared is light, and that is what made me right actually we were both rig
What we are not getting the game on march 27. We are going to start helping make the game on march 27. When you talk about the game not working that doesn't mean that the game isn't working that means that we are going to test it on multiple computers, and they really don't know what problems are actually going to show up. I am confused there were two packages Pne was for the alpha, beta, and any expansions and Dlc's that come with the game. This is really for
I rethought modules it could be that when enough ships reach enough levels then you could get modules to add when you level up, or this could be workable for upgrading if you up grade that ship. The problem with modules is that it would require you to upgrade the ship to recieve the ability.
Well I have three reasons why I would build a Dyson swarm, circle, or sphere around a gas giant instead of a star. 1. Because most of the quotes for the distance around a star is one Au then it requires a lot of building materials for a Dyson sphere around a star is would require less material to go around a gas giant. 2. The reason for this is the energy requirements for space travel which could probably be answered with a lot less materials around a gas giant instead of a st
I like the Akillians they have great abilities in the example mod. I like the Paulos.
Hey Darca I've saw you on a commercial today. I want to give you credit for all this work.
Well I have a few you might add. 1. A lot of factions like 83. 2. I like the multiple leader idea on Civilization 4 I think that all the factions should have multiple leaders with different abilities. 3. A map of 1200 solar systems. 4. Stay out of my space where you can people to get out of my space, but un order to do anything you have to physically catch and arrest them. 5. Multiple paths to the same tech. 6. Tech research where the private se
I want more civs.
where do these magic resources come from? The ones we don't know if we will even need yet? https://forums.galciv3.com/452195 I made that post and if the two ideas merged it would be great. DARCA
This comment really confuses me. but that could be that I'm familiar with Civilization, or Sins of a solar empire. Games like this sometimes gives additional ab
I like the idea of multiple paths to one tech.
General market where everyone goes to sell their goods works. I think the black market is corruption that you build in some else's territory where their corruption come's in as your commerce. This could be added to espionage. Another idea for a general market it could be small wonders that if you build them they would be connected to the other one's this could also be done through diplomacy. This could also be an galactic council option that can be voted on. This could be an
Ok this is not the fun part of the game. That is fine. I'm probably have tips on build Ques.victory I might have suggestions on tech trees. If I find the user interface confusing I should probably speak up. I know the victory conditions are not up. I will be looking for a challenging game. I know the ship building is not up to par. I know the diplomacy is not up yet. I am planning to give suggestions and ideas when they come.
Question does anyone know how to shape a force field.
I like this idea. Instead of just a faction having an individualized weapon like they already do in Twilight, but now you can pick on of two individualized weapons, They are doing this with techs on the next game where if you pick one tech it will eliminate another tech. The unit idea would only enhance this.
Well for the most part it wouldn't need modules like what we already have, but we could do it like Sins of a solar empire or several other games where you would just simply pick abilities as you level up. Here's even an option for all those people who think this minor inconviencce would be to much. I could have an in game option to set these for all ships or certain kind of ships when they level up. Heroes was also an option for this. Now dealing with real time vs. turn based
Three things First I would like to see a black market option. I will say this again you can't have a black market unless you are selling things illegal. Things that are illegal would be different for different factions. I would like to see this on the game. Second I like the pirate idea of pirates running the black market. This would also include captured cargo. Third even though this would not be a black market. I think a market option for selling resources
Quoting Rudy_102, reply 68 - What ends up happening is that startups will cut that down somewhat by using free or cheaper tools, and not having the same kind of benefits package that my job does. They compensate for that in other ways, but it tends to make it harder to attract more experienced developers. I mean, would I give up a job with pension, dental coverage, and solid work weeks in exchang
Well I would like to see at least 12 factions like the number that's already on the game. I an dreaming of a choice of 83 different factions. I hope we can at least customize with the Torians abilities.
