You do realize that part of having a custom faction was being able to pick which tech tree you used, right? Custom factions were not locked into using the generic minor civ tree. We have no reason to assume Stardock will be changing that.
Well I still think if you wanted to modify small races, so they are better fit like making super versions of super projects to make the small races more on par with large races

Thanks I have 11. I just remember that games used to come with the Directx's needed for the game and a lot of times replaced the one I had. My question is can't they still carry a Directx 10 to download for those that have computers with older versions than Directx? Did they change how games plat Directx sometime back that I don't know of?

Hey Jack are yousaying that maybe I should start closing programs instead of closing them to the taskbar if I want to aboid things like multitasking and multiprogramming. Or sharing memory. I heard that the more ram you have the faster the computer runs. I'm sure at least when you wouldn't have to use virtual memory, but let's say that you still have to use some virtual memory. Would that slow all your ram to the speed of your hard drive, but what if you exceed the maximum

From my understanding that running several programs at once causes you to more memory that is not on the game, and slows down your computer. Any program that you do not need to do anything prysical with should be shrunk down to your taskbar until you need to do something with.

Personally I would like a better looking planetary setup. For the most part people from endless space are right it is a nice interface. I don't like the fact that they have one Que for the whole solar system, or they limit how many colony ships you can have. I'm not saying that the citizen setting on Endless space is superior to the exact population on Galactoc civilization is superior. I;m not understanding something on DirectX. listening to people talk DirectX which was offe
That could be solved via simple template: initial conditions>what to do>for how long>whan to stop>what to do next. Say, planet class 6>improve via terraforming, then build this, this, and this, no taxes till pop cap reached, then delete that, build this, keep it that way. I wish. I know you are from Canada, so you might not understand someone not liking cold. I was born in South Dakota. When I was one we moved down to Arizona. when I was eight we moved up to South Dakota didn't like the weather. Moved back to Tucson when I was fourteen. Weather over rides looks in my book.

I think he was serious that actually sounds exciting reminding me when I was a kid in the black hills in South Dakota as a kid. Oh yeah the Black hills are actually mountains.

I will have to say two things. I feal you on what you are writing about. Even though what you are saying it could be done. It required you to learn how to read what the techs did. The screens were slow to appear, and not easy to get rid of. What was done in the diplomacy screen should have also been done in the research. The research descriptions were cryptic. All you wanted to do is mouse over the tech, and have a description. The description needs to be clear and comprehensive. <

I think that we need to be able to right click planets for our build Que's. Smarter ship and improvement build Que's. If you want to be able to make an avatar without nonething more than windows please visit this post https://forums.galciv3.com/450709 , and leave a comment when you are done.

I can feel this I thought that it was kind of hard to read. 1. I agree I would rather have these options on the hilight screen instead of a slow right click when trading. I would like to have a description of the units and wonders instead of having to hilight the unit and wonder and only seeing the benefits. I felt the descriptions the game gave was not enough. You were able to right click the options in trading to get stats, units, and future techs, but I felt more was needed. You ha

As long as you don't want an avatar that's fine. The only reason I do that is because some people like me didn't know that windows come with the ability to make this, so you don't need any other software to do this.
