I am currently mad about the Fringe, or better to say, angry about local TV, which televised the first season of Fringe few years back...and i watched it and i quite liked it... the they promised to buy rights for the next season, so i decided to be patient and not to download it off the torrents... now, finally, after what 2,3 years? the SECOND season finally showed up on the screen, ofc i found out completely by accident, by the time the third episode was already aired, but anyway, guess th
First off everyone cries about the overpoweredness of superweapons and asks for a limit. Now there is a limit in the game and people start crying that they can't camp behind their well defended frontline anymore and sit out the next of the game. Really people what the hell do you actually want? Is there even fun in camping out the game while spamming Novaliths? I really don't get it. But fine wi

Have you balanced many games with 3 races so you base it on your personal experience? Just asking.... Anyhow, thanks for letting us know... Do you know any languages?I know quite a bit Java (don't confuse this with JavaScript, which is a lot different) and C++, which is quite similar to Java actually. My favorite language is ActionScript 3 though, which I use a lot. It is a very flexible language, which is why I think it's great for flash applications, making games and for interactive
Quoting MayallCommunion, reply 3Usually its a mistake in the Code Tim. Some bugs can come from weird places man.Though one would assume the dev's playtested their updated code first, to make sure it really does work as intended, before releasing it to the public... That's one of the basic rules of game development. Believe me, I've studied that. Yet a lot of companies rush out updates without proper playtesti

I only keep wondering, how can bug like this occur...i mean, they were explicitly mentioning the new mechanic (not capital planets and artifact worlds) in the release log, so you would assume, they actually know, what they are doing, perhaps they even tested it for functionality... similarly with the Global Unity, at first it was not working for the newly colonised worlds, so they fixed it, and now, apparently, once researched, culture spreads not only from your worlds, but from enemy

I agree that some shows could be better, but I think you may have ridiculous standards. Well, you see, not that I am enthusiastic about it, but SGU at least can be seen without having a sense of cognitive dissonance. You may consider it "the worst show ever", but I am not quite surprised, In
Quoting XubXub, reply 7 I'm tempted to agree, but the amount of shenanigans you can pull with a kostura and a fleet with an Antorak is fiendish. The big question on my mind is, if Vasari rebels get phase jumping orkys, does that mean you can shoot a world with the kostura and drop a fully upgraded orky on them? And, once the world is a burnt cinder, activate the orky's phase and jump back home? That sounds far too OP if so, but a

I never read the books, but decided give it a try 2 weeks ago, during easter, watched the entire first season with my bro.... TBF i am not much into fantasy genre, although i quite enjoyed reading/watching LoTR, i prefer sci-fi and things like Diablo III currently, WoW, Witcher, etc... leave me uninterested. So i approached this with bit of a scepticism, but need to say, was very pleasantly surprised. Its really, really great, i love the story, the characters (Peter Dinklage FTW! :-))
I'd prefer that it worked in the same way as in Age of Empires 3. The AI 'offers' a surrender, the player chooses to accept or decline, and the game proceeds accordingly (with the AI continuing as normal or abandoning the game). I agree that the AI is a little too quick to bail in many cases and yes, it would be nice to have a choice in the matter.
Sounds
Same. TBS's are just too boring and micromanagement intensive for me now, and they make playing online multiplayer either impossible or difficult. When you get bored playing against the silly AI, your options for playing real opponents are thus kind of limited.
This. Additionally, the best single property of Sins is that its strategic and combat part are overlapping, with all the other games, even those, which w

Yeah, last game i played, part of my ships would always, after they killed the target, i manually focused my attacks on, return to the edge of gravity well and compose themselves into that pre-jump formation. Was not sure, whether i pressed something unintentionally or it was a bug.

as the main title says now, the preorders for the game are finally open, so if you interested... i had the luck to be part of a closed beta, played first 5 missions of the single-player campaign and it definitely had the potential, well its not Homeworld and from certain aspects of the game you could feel its not a big AAA title, but for me, it was good enough. Last 2 missions brought even a nice story twist and change of pace to the gameplay, i rarely play single-playe

You're essentially trying to argue that a cruiser is more advanced than the final supership to end galactic stalemates.
I'm really considering quitting this game, as of now, I contantly get harassed by pirate fleets over 40 ships per fleet, I get enemy titan with 6 capital ships attacking my planet, and I have 2 or 3 repair platforms. I can kill hard enemies easily on Diplomacy here, but the way Rebellion Beta throws enemies at me is ridiculous. Lets see: TEC Rebels: you receive those controllable Pirate ships, still not sure which of the techs is needed for this - Insurgency? Pirate Mercenaries? Liberated Resistance? So, basically, we are talking supply system ala Conquest Frontier Wars. Its not a bad idea, IMHO it worked on Conquest fairly well. Within Sins, it could be perhaps kinda "spiced" with all that diplomatic stuff/pacts and other things. That said, i do not see it happening until Sins 2 at least.

As the title says, what is your fav color, you tend to play with most of the times? What do you think would be the best default color for the subfactions (if there was something like single-player campaign)? I mean, until now, it was pretty straightforward, TEC - yellow, Advent - light blue, Vasari - red.... but now, on that trailer, we saw Vasari for example both red (at the end with the Vasari Rebel Titan) and turquoise (attack fleet in the beginning of the trailer, then the Envoy approachi
