Rapier and shadow's team is really, really good. That is a pretty impressive, gigantic win streak too. I think part of it is for the funny factor though, as opposed to just show how awesome they are. Me and regabond beat them once in a custom. Admittedly, we had a freakin awesome random on our team lol. It was before the latest patch though, so I don't think the loss is there to tarnish their record. Eventually the rest of the DI crew will stop fearing you shadow, and we'll be able to
I rarely have it used on me but Warlord Punisher can really piss me off when I am playing Sedna especially against hit and run demigods like the TB. The damage is slightly annoying but the mana loss basically takes a heal away in the early levels. If you stack it with Staff of Renewal it can make Sedna's at least have to go back to the crystal more often and if they aren't watching their mana carefully then you can kill her.
never thought of a serious ap
hybrid doesn't suck...I usually only end up going hybrid for one or two reasons tho. 90% of the time its for the extra AoEs that the over mode can offer. The other 10% of the time its cuz for some reason I've decided that I need to be able to pick on my opponent from longer range ...so I'll add fireball to my ice build.
http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&tab=upcoming&show=details&id=86949 Just finished a 2v2 as TB and won. Both teams were premade. Took me and my buddy a minute to realize that avoiding the enemy and farming their creeps was our best option early/mid game heh. We let the giants do most of the work. Our team was TB and
Somehow it seems like switching to ice mode is faster than switching to fire. If you switch to ice and are clicking furiously for a move or attack order, it seems like the TB will skip half of his "omg i'm going Ice mode" animation. No such luck when switching to fire though.
random :P SyDaemon what is your mouse/gerbil singing?
I think the idea is interesting. I'm not gonna weigh in on the balance, but I do have one pretty difficult question...What happens if the storm kahn runs out of mana while flying over a gap? Also, not a lot of maps are designed with people have the ability to fly out of bounds in mind. Maps get screwed up enough with erebus bat swarming across giant gaps (crucible and exile, I'm pointing at you!) I think it technically might be very difficult to implement this.
Ok I dont play queen, but my buddy does and he somehow WTF pwns towers with some sorta damage multiplier skill (UGH can't remember the name of it). I keep thinking "compost" is the name of it or something. Anyway Rook and QoT can pretty much insta-kill towers at a low level if you spec em rightwhereas everone else can do it too..but its slower process.
deep freeze deep freeze deep freeze!...wait you were fire? Uh....She'll run out of mana eventually!!!
You can consider joining DI, death incarnate. We're a clan from supcom. About 8 of us have demigod right now, and we're pretty active. We usually have 3 or 4 guys on teamspeak starting at about 8 30 pm pacific US time. It's not really all that unusual for us to get like 7 or 8 demigod players on teamspeak on a busy night though. We have a website and a ts server. The website is www.deathincarnate.com...although I think it may be having issues today. You can pm me or browse/make
Neoauld ..did you notice that you didn't lose any favor for purchasing the item? It actually allows you to buy a favor item for one game, then get a refund for it afterwards. I doubt that was the intended way it was supposed to work, but it's actually easier on the players right now...
whats the priest bug?
I'll always get currency 1 immediately, but I tend to get priests once my whole team is level 10.
a nice post, I wonder how many new people visit this section of the forum though?
Quoting Tenk51, reply 16this seams pretty obvious to me, go out and kill the generals. obviously if they put so many points into minions they wont have much to defend themselves with, and when the general dies, all their minions die too. Yeah dudes, I mean if you just kill the enemy DGs this game is sooooo easy. Why don't people who lose just kill more DGs and citadels?
Yea a good general build
lollololol yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I honestly feel that fire TB does not scale well into late game when everyone is decently stacked with HP. Who cares about a 1K fireball when you have 6k life? The vast majority of good TB's I've seen are ice builds which turn TB into more of a support character, but it really helps the team out in big fights.
Two things. First, that 1k fireball. I can cast that from a million miles away. Odds are that you
I think most tb builds are kinda endurance builds..you try to keep getting more damage to your enemy while not taking damage, then your enemy starts to get a bit worried about their hp being at 1/3 while yours is around 1/2 so they start running. Then you just gotta chase them halfway across the map to finish em off haha. Chasing works better with ice. Also you like to fight in a creep lane so that your aoe can kill their creeps and yours can help you out a bit.
I indeed realised that fightning the minions was not an option, but I new that already from playing single player tourneys. I do not think I touched one of the minions? The portal locking was what killed us in the end, but that would have been annoying regardless. By that time we had long lost. I was also surprised how extremely unwise it is to fight 2 DGs even for a moment. EDIT: And btw, I defended our home portals a f
WARGARBHLLLL!!! I jsut got out of a 3v3 on prison where the enemy erebus used the horn of battle and minion swarm build. I was TB and began to show him who's boss towards the end, but my team mates both admitted to being new...so during a momentary lapse of my attention the enemy cap locked both our portal and we died instantly. It took my team mates a little while to realize that fighting the minions wasn't an option haha. It was on fast mode and the game still lasted
Yeah TB is pwnage. He's even better in a team fight where his AoEs can do some massive damage. Ice bearer also likes team fights where his slows and interupts can disrupt the enemy's important skills like Sedna heals or rook hammer slams that are coming down on one or two of your team mates. Another great thing about him is that he's a great asset to a team that's getting attacked by creep swarms.
quoting post The only explanation I can think of is for instances when I use it as a killing blow, then that's just all the life they have so I can't take 800 damage off of someone with only 750 life. No, that's not it, as I've gotten 1900 criticals on archers and minotaurs. It shouldn't be affected by armor since it's a skill, although it may be some sort of damage mitigation given by an item(although the only item I know of tha
I really hope to see a ranked premade team ladder or something...that would probably solve a lot of this because premades tend to enjoy competition that they can get recognition for in the form of "rank" or stats or w/e
What if there was a range limit to get exp/gold? Meaning, if the minion dies farther away than X yards from its master then it yields exp/gold. ok it turns out that this navicat program has a little quirk, but it kinda makes sense. What happened was I had two tables open, and one of them had a foreign key that referenced the other. Well I made the row with the source primary key in the one that gets referenced, and that was fine. Then I tried to enter a row in the second one that has a foreign key referencing the first one...this program doesn't account for that. I had to close the second table then reopen it for it to realize that I
