Having tested out the 1.2 favor items (see my mod in the mod forum if you want to unlock them), here's my verdict on them: 1. SotF is OP. 2. The Assassin speed favor item isn't overpowered. 3. The Dodge favor item adds in new strategies, but I don't think it's overpowered. 4. The Health General favor item is unoriginal, but not bad. Try the new favor items out and let me know your opinions. :)
OMG_Epiphenomenon
When UB Foul Grasps someone, they stay frozen for a couple of seconds after the grasp. They can't move or anything. This is game-breaking, IMO.
Do you remember the new favor items that were taken out of 1.2? Actually, they weren't taken out. They are still in 1.2, but they were removed from the menu. I have added the favor items back to the favor item menus! Here is the URL: http://www.mediafire.com/?ww30zfydly0 (This is version 1.01. I reduce the cost of the new favor items to 500.) Here is how the files work. The Layout file creates a place for the favor it
Ok, now let's see Brad's Item Pack. :P
The UID is needed to differentiate mods. If two mods have the same UID, only one will be shown. You might want to add this into your post and tell people to make theirs different.
I think that everything is fair use. You should go ahead and upload it, but give credit to those that helped you make it. :) There's nothing wrong with using the mods of others as long as you give credit.
Hey, just FYI, the new favor items are in the LUA, they just aren't activated. I'm working on trying to enable them right now. EDIT: See my mod that allows you to try these forbidden favor items!
It should be extremely easy to balance things now. Thanks pacov!
I wonder if BotS works well with Warp Area.
I agree with RAWRRRR. Make it an option for them to be permanently displayable. It would be AMAZING if we could target Demigods with abilities by clicking on the box. My own suggestion is to remove the box when the mouse is over your own Demigod. We already know our own stats. :)
I was wondering if anyone had the sample mods yet, like Brad's item pack or Sorian's. I'd love to see them!
Analysis If warp strike works on reinforcements, it will make a great escape tool. In effect, it can be used to warp to wherever enemy creeps are. Only getting Warp Strike I isn't a bad idea. It will let you teleport 15 yards while spending only one point. Warp Strike IV is insane, since it allows you to warp 25 yards. Warp Area II is really great. It allows you to go invincible for 3.2 seconds. Shadow Swap has a low mana cost relati
Here's a list of the Demon Assassin's abilities. It took me some work to create this, so karma is appreciated if you enjoy it. :) The bold numbers show the changes that occur when a skill is leveled. Warp Strike I 500 mana, Instant cast, 7 second cooldown, and 15 yd range Warps to a target and deals 250 damage. Warp Strike II 650 mana, Instant cast, 7 second cooldown, and <
I wanted to play Fire TB, too. How the hell did this get f***ed up?
Whenever I play chess, I insist that we remove the queens from the board. Only n00bs use her. My opponents find that all of their fancy strategies go out the window whenever she's removed from the game. When you alter the rules of the game, you change the dynamics which changes the optimal strategy. Most players don't play games without favor items, so it gives you an advantage over them.
Signed, Unclean Beast, your community Badass
Bahahaha!
I can't wait to play Occulus.
Thanks for not adding the new favor items!
One time I was able to get 9 spirits having spent only 1 point on soul ward. I haven't been able to replicate that. :( Has anyone else been able to do this?
I'm going to be trying all sorts of full-out minion builds with these changes. Now Oaks minions will be unkillable, muahaha. FFS.
How about letting us have them for single player only? Surely no one would be against that.
I'd love to have open access to the Demigods. If they are unbalanced, then we can simply host games titled "No DA or Occulus." We'd be able to analyze them much faster if we all had access to them. Our player base is small enough without restricting it further. Maybe everyone with 200+ games could get access to them. :P
Yeah, I knew about that and was hoping no one else would mention it. :P I've tried doing that, but it doesn't seem to work in the latest build. I don't know if it was changed or not. I might be doing it wrong.
I was wondering if we could do UI mods.
