Hybrid Beast: Very well rounded, although not very strong in any one regard. It is strong early game, and strong mid game, but loses its power late game from a lack of focus. This build seems to fare better than the spit beast in more situations, although the lack of health and depedance on mana to complete the dps makes it an easier target for spikers and for towers.
Entirely wrong. So incredibly wrong it's amazing. Hybrid builds are strongest lategame; at that point,
Didn't know you were so sensitive Milskidasith. If the stat tracker is so bad that would mean we would all have the same shitty stat tracking which would indicate our stats are inaccurately accurate. How would you feel if I walked into your game, called you a dumbass, and left? And yes, everybody<
but you are the one carrying your team to victory and you're gone for 30 seconds.
The thing is, suicide kills tend to happen early game because lategame, most towers are smashed and most DG's can handle towers pretty effectively and can run pretty effectively (at that point, it takes chainstuns to win, for the most part). At that point, people have are getting very high values of HP, armor, DPS, and mana for their money, and buying vital citadel upgrades (gold, tower up
The main problem is that, while you can know you're going to die if you go in after someone, you don't know you're gonna kill them. A heal, shield, or invul, a ranged attack on you from the mist, even just a character with more hp or hp regen than you thought, and you've just managed to kill yourself period. Even if you get a 90% sucess rate, the extra gp/xp you get compared to farming won't offset the massive loss if you feed yourself to an opposing player.
Err... As l

Bad internet connection, plus leaving whenever my teammates (or myself, in my first few games) fed a ton. I also dropped out a bit when the game was already lost, IE they had giants and we didn't even have the warscore for Catas. Yay. I'm sorry that not everybody has a perfect connection or has enough free time to figure that, if they have time for one game of DG, they
(as an aside, I've seen more instances where people go for that "last hit kill followed by their own death" only to result in some unforeseen force that yields not only them not killing the target, but their own inevitable death anyway)
So you say you are going to leave, and then post anecdotal evidence to support your position... nice. Hypocrite. Also, Never Die is a great philosophy, but you don't seem to understand why people say it.
I think Zechnophobe has relevant criticism here. Sure it is possible to net a benefit from trading deaths, but is that benefit better than the benefit you can receive by letting the DG go and keeping yourself on the field?
First off, it isn't relevant. Secondly, big NOOOOOOOOO. If you are at the point where chasing into the towers would kill you, you are going to have to run or die when the enemy comes back. And if he chases you, he will have enough HP to go thr
Does that essentially mean that you never have to return back to the crystal for health (as I assume the ooze builds buy gear with hp/hp regen/armor focuses only, to negate the drain on life from ooze)?
Exactly; once you get the first five items, you have great HP/s, enough to heal a lot of damage without Ooze on (A better figure for cash might be 10k, because once you get Narmoth's you essentially never need to go to the crystal because you can turn off Ooze and heal 3
You need 6k just to get the basic gear for an Ooze UB, not counting health pots, wand of speed, TP scrolls, or flag locks. I'm curious how you can run a hybrid, which also requires mana, for less money than that.
Never kill an enemy if you are going to die after doing it.
I'm sorry, I thought getting X amount of gold and almost a level up worth of EXP is worth dying for. Considering the fact it gets me more than I would by farming creeps and since one DG on each side is out, it is a net benefit. The entire guide was written so that people like you didn't spam "never kill if you are going to die afterwards" without giving any thought
I don't think there is ever a question of whether or not you should take the flag.
In a game I was playing, a level 6 sedna was killed by a basic melee creep. A BASIC MELEE CREEP. That annoyed me. It was a hilarious waste of potential gold. :(
Make the rewards aesthetic, or, like favor items, easy to work towards. Favor items work out well; you can get them quickly, they are (mostly) all useful to some degree (though most all items relating to combat are eclipsed by blade of the serpant or BotF, and otherwise it is swift anklet or teleport scroll), and you can still earn more and be more diverse. It's kind of like in Guild Wars: By level 20, you could have a good build or two under your belt, but by playing more you could h
For some reason I work well with 'sin Erebus and Ooze UB; uber tank player, anybody? (while Erebus is not a true tank like Ooze UB, he still draws a lot of fire, can heal, has high HPS, and can run to heal and tank/damage some more.)

The math actually works out to be 1.15^2 advantage, not 1.15X2 adva
Now, a lot of people say "Never kill an enemy if you are going to die after doing it." Those people are wrong. However, you should know WHEN to do it, because you can screw it up and feed the enemy as much as, if not more than, you get. Assuming that the enemy is weakened and fleeing into towers and you are weak enough the towers may kill you trying to leave (after the kill), here are some questions to ask: Can I kill them for sure, even if I'm being hit by all the towers in r
To Zechno: True, you cannot focus the enemy damage. But you CAN be the first one in to the enemies, which makes minions, creeps, and towers attack you first. With a rook tower farm or a push against a team with catas or so, those can be important. Also, enemies tend to throw good skills after bad; if you run in first, the enemies will target you, and then A: they are on cooldown and B: they stupidely attack you instead of the nice TB that is frying them (although if you have a TB and a UB and
Excellent post transitive. I can only disagree on one point; you buy unbreakable boots first in your hybrid build. You don't need mana until level 5, and at level 5 you can usually have two pieces of gear, so buying a less effective HP item at the beginning is not a great decision. I prefer to open with Nimoth's, then Unbreakable boots, and then Wand of Speed if necessary; before level 7 or so, enemy DG's killing me is not a big deal since I can generally tell if I'm going to be able to beat
I honestly can't see many DG's being used besides TB (now some of those "let's slap on all the AoE moves despite the fact that RoI IV kills everything but super buffed minions" might be useful), and maybe rook (tower farm to slow down creeps) and UB (Ooze + high health regeneration = weaker mobs for him and everybody else). Not many other DG's have good AoE options; Sedna seems totally worthless, Erebus doesn't have great AoE though with an "infinite mist" build you could theoretically get on

Ha And as far as 'Whose fault is it that they got into your base?' Someone with that kind of evasion you simply couldn't fight against. Even going 2v1 with a tower you'd still probably lose because nearly all of your damage is simply being negated. You can't counter that.
Imagine HP stacking with that.... 6~7k HP
Slash is a bad move; shuriken storm is better in every way. The injection is interesting, but I'm confused on the final stage... So it gives him 1.5 attack for each time he injected himself, along with the other bonuses? If it lasts infinite time, why does it say it has a duration of 20 seconds? Also, his passives are pretty nuts. The first one is a 10% damage reduction against everything (if dodges affect skill; I'm not sure). Most people don't have that kind of damage reduct
I never said you said Rook was OP. I just said you were making a bunch of horrible assumptions in order to say, at every turn, Rook wins.
