Fix for active cooldowns adjusting when a cooldown buff/debuff fades. Does this mean Deep Freeze is now viable for use at any point after an enemy skill use?

Spacebar + mouse for camera movement works wonders
In a couple threads in the general forum, Neilo and Chowdown joked that the pewter Rook figurine that comes with the collector's edition provides +800 Health and -35% to ability cooldowns. While those exact stats might be a bit overkill (as it's essentiall a supercharged Staff of Renewal with tons of extra HP instead of fringe benefits to HP and MP), why not actually have this as an item? It could be a favor item, perhaps with stats that would

Sigil! No stopping to heal
Staff of Renewal is kickass. The only other things in the game that are comparable are a Celerity Flag and a nearby allied Sedna with Magnificent Presence, and Staff is still better because it gives a larger cooldown reduction and is always available. It's one of the few favor items with an effect you absolutely cannot obtain at the item shop. And if you play the generals it's worth checking out the Diamond Pendant. It's only half as good but does the same thing.&nbs
Yeah that's my point though. Nobody's gonna be fast enough if they don't anticipate.
*ahem* 350ms is .35 seconds..so provided your cast is faster than .15 seconds on the interupt you'll get her.. and oh look torchie is .1 ...Foul grasp is instant... And yes anticipation helps...
0.2 seconds (or more) human reaction time to click + 0.35 seconds lag time > 0.5 seconds. Foul Grasp might be instant, but people are not.
The whole point of towers is to act as a defensive shield early in the game . They're more like your first line of defense.
For the quick skills you'll really only be able to intterupt them by anticipating their use and using the interrupt just beforehand. The average human reaction time is something around 0.2-0.25 seconds, and the game apparently standardizes everyone to 350ms lag time, so that's more than Sedna's 0.5-second cast time for Heal. And forget about interrupting 0.1-second skills just by watching for them, that's utterly impossible for a human to do so those you'd have to anticipate.
Favor points are working as designed, but achievements are not. End-of-game favor is not awarded when playing against a team of all AI players. Favor for achievements will be awarded in games with AI, but you're correct in noting that achievements are not working properly. Any achievement that is cumulative over multiple games will become stuck at whatever value it is at after a single game. So "Win on ever map as [Demigod]" will always be stuck at 1
Just don't play with them; find people who want to actually play the game instead of ticking their stats up. Nobody gets a record like theirs without gaming the system.
The Goggles revealing the potion seems like a good idea, not that anyone would use them anyway. Also based on the skill description the poisoned blood "gains the ability to heal him and poison others" so really he should still gain health when picking up his own potion.
Getting rewarded for destroying towers (or killing minions, for that matter) would be like getting XP for every Fireball you survive, or gold for breaking through QoT's Bramble Shield. They're an ability; they're not supposed to have any disadvantage other than the time and mana cost it takes to use them.
Still waiting for Rook's top hat and monocle.
Actually you lose 15% of the total HP that you'd have without the flag -- which could be more than 15% of your remaining health. For example if you have 4000 HP, take Fortitude flag you have 600 extra, so 4600. Then let's say you have a brutal battle and are down to 1000 HP. You run, enemy takes the flag. Even though you only have 1000 HP left, you still will lose the full 600, and be left with 400.
Some finer points about form switching and auras -- with Fire Aura you get the most weapon damage by dropping into ice, then switching back to fire -- you'll have +damage from both the switching-to-ice timed bonus and the fire aura. Of course you can't make use of that damage often since fire still can't autoattack on the run. With Permafrost you get the most mana regen by switching to fire then dropping right back to ice, because both the fire form timed bonus and Permafrost aura
H key should select just your demigod. Also the options list a key for selecting certain types of minions like just priests but when I tried it it didn't seem to work...
Recommend using spacebar + mouse to rotate. Puts the rotate keys to shame.
Ashkandor + Mageslayer + Girdle of Giants = massive crits. Combine with other +damage items and you can easily be doing that kind of damage. Were you playing on Exile by any chance? Getting Mageslayer there is easy because it's only 8000 and the map size + capturable health crystals gives you enough a cushion to save the gold.
L4D's another example of a game in which people do whine about this....the L4D forums were always a mess of complaining about pubstomping, among repetitive balance threads and such. You see it more with games with smaller teams, but even in large FPS games you still get people complaining about stacking and such. Anyway just ignore people who whine -- "bitterness and resentment" only harms them, and those who listen to them. Play with friends if you want to, and c
Rook and Sedna for some reason have it worse than others. I rarely have pathfinding issues with TB for example -- but Rook likes to stand next to towers and the edge of lanes and rock his hips back and forth. He also occasionally does a full 360° spin before hitting a tower. Sedna's issue seems to be caused by Sila. The tiger's length seems to make it run into things before the game senses that you're touching it...so you end up with Sila "walking" up against the
Legend of Zelda games -- long monologues from the owl (it's worse in Link's Awakening than in Ocarina of Time because the text goes slower) or some other character -- especially when they ask something to the effect of "Should I repeat that?" and Yes is highlighted by default. So as you hammer the buttons to skip through it you end up asking to hear it again.
Sounds great -- glad to see that the AI will be less of a liability. Most looking forward to the replays and the "various bug fixes" though. Can't wait to hear / see more!
Favor is only awarded when there is at least one human on each team -- the only thing you'll gave favor for against all AI is achievements.
