Yeah his ideas are amazing but there's no way adding him alone would magically speed up the process of getting said ideas modeled, textured, coded, tested, not to mention funded. I mean seriously look at, say, the map Exile. It prolly took much longer to actually make that thing in 3ds max or Maya or whatever they're using, than it did to think of and present the idea of it.

I think the rankings for each should just be separate. That is, Pantheon = http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/rankings/ladder/ (Currently this includes custom too, and maybe skirmish) Custom = http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/rankings/customgame/ Skirmish

I use Xfire and its ingame overlay has a browser, so I just load up opengames.asp and refresh that to watch the queue in action. It's a bit annoying to see it in action though; yesterday I watched as people piled into the queue and it eventually made a 3v3. I was still waiting and got put in a 2v2 several minutes later, but I was the very first person to join the queue.

Perhaps a simple lil shoutbox-style updater somewhere would help ease the fears of abandonment? Just a passworded form for the devs that stores the timestamp and a quick message. So then someone at GPG could just punch in "demigod 1.2 alpha 3 testing done" or whatnot, and click the submit button -- takes a few seconds, and people who need to be reminded that things are really happening are hopefully satisfied.

Custom games are prolly only really a favorite because you can actually see that you're going to get into a game...I finally played a bit of Pantheon and it was more enjoyable, but waiting around with no feedback on whether the matchmaking process is working is a bit of a drag. Plus if you look at the stats pages, there are three tabs on the rankings -- Ladder, Custom Game, and Skirmish: http://pantheon.demigodthega

http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/767158/player/54590/ The guy playing on team "unknown" as demigod "unknown" was not even in the game. For some reason it put some random player into the stats for that game, and left out the third person on Forces of Light. http://screenshot.xfire.c

It is one of the better interrupts because it's fast, but half the time I fail anyway. Really gotta use anticipation even for some of the obvious ones like Hammer; otherwise a bit of lag + the time it takes to register in your head + your button-pressing time + cast time could make you hit a fraction of a second too late. I usually just put a single point in it and leave it be, only adding more if the game lasts long enough to max out all the other ice stuff and stats.&

They basically tied in their fight to the death in The Dark Knight Returns . Batman technically won by shooting him with a kryptonite arrow, but Superman didn't die whereas Batman "died" shortly after of a heart attack. That was faked to get the goverment off him though so both of them just barely survived. Batman is infinitely cooler though, so tie goes to him.

The cast time for flag locks is okay, and if it were longer people would just start it earlier. Plus 10 seconds is really a long time to be casting something. Instead there should just be a "lock immunity" on flags after the current lock expires, so that warping in a relocking then running either back to your crystal (if you're defending) or just running away won't work -- you'd actually have to drive away anyone who's there if they're waiting for the lock to expire. Agree this is needed. People always say they need help at the flag on the left or something, and I'm sitting there with the flags on the top and bottom (and the citadels on the left and right) so Rook doesn't block my view of a lane. Usually I play with the enemy base at the bottom through.

I like the idea, thought of reverse-Payload immediately (and Payload is my favorite mode in TF2). Also seems like a reversed UT2004 mode Bombing Run, which was also made of win. Just one thing about moving it into your own base -- once it's past the towers it'd pretty much be yours.

The only debuffs they will have after that are the Deep Freeze temporary cooldown increase, and the Permafrost movement speed reduction if they're close enough. The debu

[quote who="cottonrabbit" reply="11" id="2303039"]Assuming that the all of the demigods should be equal, the expected proportion of wins:losses from the global win/loss numbers is 1.01:1. With a chi-square test, UB's lopsided win/loss ratio has a ridiculous p-value of 8.47x10^-100. On the other hand, the Rook's dismal win/loss numbers also deviate from the null hypothesis highly signficantly, in the other direction, with a p-value of 4.17x10^-8. In other words, the huge dispa

There's definitely a margin on some of the awards; I've seen five people get Flags when one had 15 flags and the other four had 14 flags. But anyway his stats do support him getting more favor seeing as he has more of almost everything.

[quote who="Zechnophobe" reply="21" id="2302395"]Deep freeze will have no effect on a fireball, other than interrupting it, unless the fireball user has significantly shortened cooldowns, or deep freeze is high level. The increase in cooldown time is 'temporary', which is ridiculously counter intuitive. That is, the time for fireball to cooldown will change from 7, to 10 seconds. However, when deep freeze wears off, the extra 3 seconds added onto it, will then be removed. Since it
