If you find someone in game behaving excellently or playing very well, feel free to take a screenshot and post it here. [e digicons][/e] I'll start. Just had an absolutely epic game on Cataract, 3v3. Probably the best group of 5 to play with I've seen yet. Based on Pantheon's stats it seems none of us knew each other, but both sides had great teamwork and nobody was an asshole. Giants on field for both sides for at least 20 m

Just wreck them -- AI fails at not getting killed so do what it takes to rape them early and they won't recover. Slaughter can be hard because your crappy AIs only can die ten times to their not-as-crappy AIs, but just be sure to get some of the favor awards on that one. And push like hell; they won't try to stop you.

Yes and even before the fix it didn't actually even deduct the favor points for buying it, except in singleplayer. However -- occasionally if you buy a new one it might not save it for the next match even with the fix, but I've only ever seen that happen if something goes wrong like the the game ending before 3 minutes or a desync. But then it shouldn't take the points away either. If you are actually having your favor items not save, and still losing the points that it

As for two mana helms -- it's playable with just the Vlemish, but Rain of Ice is one of the best kiting tools ever made. It's better and quicker than just autoattacking -- so using it more often is an excellent strategy, but generally you'd want to have items with both flat rate and percentage increases on mana regen. Good point on Blade of the Serpents effectively letting you do more than what 2 mana items allow...makes it seem an even better choice. I hadn't thought of

Hmm is there any way to edit when or if that kicks in? I tried playing with these values in the user.setting file:
MaxParticleCount 6000 MaxParticleSimulationsCount 2000 MaxAsteroidCount 10000 MaxDustCloudParticleCount 5000
But it didn't seem to have any effect. Also I loaded up a savegame from just before it finished (Medium, Single Star), finished off the last enemy, and then scrapped every single thing I could and evacuated every
proofs in the pudding http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/demigods/graphs/ do something about this.
Switch the graph to show you total games played. They pretty much match. All that proves is that the more games a DG is involved in, the more wins they are involved in. When that's accounted for they still do win more, but not as much. And that can be explained by looking at the total play

Actually the items saving is fixed as of today's patch so just download that now -- I hadn't logged in the game and seen the patch notice 'til after I posted in this topic.
This tells me that most people are not playing against the AI. In both local games (at least tournament) and LAN games the favor system is busted. Not only do you not keep the favor items you purchase during a game, but it does not return the favor points after the match/tournament is done.
This is true; luckily, there's a workaround for it 'til they fix it-- http://forums.demigodthegame.c
Diamond Pendant Cost:1250 +250 Mana -10% Ability Cooldowns
It's not supposed to reduce cast times. You can verify whether it decreases cooldowns by just looking at the number that appears over the ability's icon after it is used (i.e. there's no "feeling" involved as it shows the exact cooldown). Do it just after visiting your health crystal to ensure there are no negative effects on you that increase cooldowns. A

Concede works. If everyone concedes the game ends, otherwise they continue playing. If someone quits it makes them vote to concede before quitting. If it did not do this, then a player who has his teammates quit would not be able to concede the game and would have to play with AI teammates or also quit himself. If everyone on a team quit without this functionality, then the other team would be forced to play against all AI.

So lets say you have 1 HP left and you somehow manage to pop it. You immediately heal 50% of your HP, then even if in the process of finishing off an enemy you are brought back down to 1....when the effect goes away it'd be like nothing ever happened? That's basically like nullifying any damage you receive if you use it at low health. If you use it at full health, and lose 1000 HP, when it goes away will you be 1000 below your max?
stupid replay seems to keep crashing the moment we kill their sedna
It's because it's not used to seeing Sedna die. Structural Transfer does damage slower than autoattacks at its lower levels (and even at higher levels if Rook puts a few points into God's Strength). However, it can be used to assault towers along with your creeps straight from the start of the game, because it stops the tower from shooting the creeps -- letting Rook keep the creep wave alive an extra ten seconds while he Transfers, then smack it some more while it deals with the creeps. Then he can take a few more hits and tran

Yeah, once you get the second level of freeze, you can pretty much solo two towers with no creeps helping as long as all the enemy DGs are busy.

Never tried matchmaking and prolly won't 'til I hear that it's fixed beyond any shadow of a doubt. Never have any problems getting a custom game going unless I happen to play when loads of open games are all competing for players.

Any ideas on what the best favor item for an all-ice Torch Bearer is? I've been mainly using Swift Anklet to help ensure the speed advantage from Permafrost isn't counteracted by Boots, Anklet, or enemy slows. It's also obviously a good choice because it frees up a slot and gold that Boots of Speed would've taken while giving more speed. I've seen success with Blood of the Fallen, too -- but then I buy Boots of Speed, which comes with severa

Mines are annoying as heck since they can basically be used as grenades (though when used as actual mines they're scarier). But being annoying doesn't mean they need a nerf. They're not easy to use for one, at least not without practice. I ran through the singleplayer campaign as Reg the other day and found them to be a lot trickier than most DG's skills. Also, let's look at Reg's combat options: 1. Shoot crossbow (autoattack). 2. Make crossbow shoot f
