I still love unexpected heals. :) Hard to say about the effect on enemy XP/gold since you can't see the numbers anyway. In my experience people are still generally buying everything up to catapults all at once or in a short period of time.

A simple solution would be to make it so the Ooze health bleed cannot actually kill UB. It could still counteract his health regen when he's at 1 HP, without dealing the final point of damage. If that's turns out to be something of a bonus for him, then it could auto turn itself off and deal a debuff to him, causing massive slowing or attack speed slow or something. "Oozed Out" maybe. Alternatively, the game could immediately credit any Ooze bleed damage to whoever o

Fixes I'd like to see -- pretty sure these have all been said, but, for emphasis-- -Fix autoattack bugs mentioned in some thread around here -- e.g. fake attack bug when you target, swing, and do no damage; delay bug -- to reproduce as Rook at least, you can target specific creeps and he'll very often not deal damage, or target towers and he'll do a quick 360° spin before smacking away. Fire TB especially needs autoattack fix. IMO this should be priority #1 because aut

Install-Path\Demigod\movies\ includes the scenes of the camera rotating around them -- they're named stuff like dg_victory_oak.bik. But the voiceover narration is not actually part of these videos -- I believe those are tucked away in some kind of archive file in the sound folder. Only sound in these videos are things like wind and the noises the demigods themselves make (e.g. UB's roaring, Rook's creaking). Example: htt

It's easier to notice AI Rook trying to boulder snipe than it is to notice AI Torch Bearer not utilizing his form-changing bonuses, or not doing the ice spell combo...

No idea if these have been mentioned because I'm not in the mood to read eleven pages-- One idea for a general I had included something like Frogboy's "Charm Beast" teamswitching creep/minion idea. I was thinking of a more psychic-powers themed general with mind-slave minions, an AoE attack to melt creeps' brains or something, stealing troops from the enemy, and something like the Armistice ability of the one capital ship in Sins of a Solar Empire , where

Deaths not caused by any demigod should be counted as if the entire other team assisted....this would also make it so gaming the system by suiciding into towers gives more gold in total to the enemy than attempting to escape and getting killed by them (except in 2v2 where two people team up on one for the kill).

Definitely a bug (otherwise it wouldn't ask you to confirm the purchase) but I agree with Sean0883 in that it's better this way. Item purchases aren't being saved offline either so they must've accidentally disabled something related to that. Just doesn't cost you anything for each purchase online.

I like this better than the old one, because the old way made it really easy to miss messages. A transparency slider in the options plus a nice lil toggleable, recognizeble noise when messages are sent is needed though. Also agree on colors, just use blue for Light and red for Dark -- also needed on the kill and flag messages at the top of the screen.

If towers were to be treated like minions they'd also need to let Rook choose targets for them, and not crumble on their own when he's still alive. Which would make them more powerful, not less.

Edit: July 6 -- Fixed In Update There's a thread in the problem reports forum about this, but I figure it's better if the workaround is clearly labeled as such. The issue is that when you buy a favor item in single-player games, the offline favor points are spent but the item is not saved. Thus, players who regularly play offline or test builds with certain items will quickly run dry on points as the
Yeah I had the same thing happen Milski. I think its happening to everyone lol. You buy the item, you use it for the game. But next game, you have all the favor you have ever earned, but none of the favor items. Its totally not the way favor should be working, but hey its like we can "rent" favor items for free right now lol. They'll probly fix it soon
I kinda like it this way (except for the ever-prese

If Tower Rook can single-handedly keep two people at bay, not to mention three, it's a fair bet those people wouldn't do too well anyway. Armor stacking or just double-teaming him (Rook himself, not his towers) should force him back easily...unless he has adequate support, in which case you can chalk it up to good teamwork. The towers already have a number of disadvantages-- -They auto-target. So no focused fire on DGs when creeps or minions are arou
About the no gold/XP on AI option. What if the other team decides not to concede and you're left with only AI? Broken.
This is a good point, but another issue is that most people prolly don't want to bother finishing off an all-AI team; otherwise, they'd have been playing a compstomp to start. Something needs to be done to check when the entire opposing team has quit and either award automatic
I'd prefer half xp/gold. Seems kinda cheap that one side could get an extra damage/capture source for nothing.
Well...they're sacrificing the human behind the character. So even with 0 xp/gold having an AI is still a big hit.

Okay so I fiddled with those two lines, and a few of the others, and it didn't seem to make any difference. I could multiply them by 2 or by 10, or reduce them to 0 or 1, and the effect still acted the same way -- it would be present in the beginning and gradually go away. Took the same amount of time to reach certain states, too (based on a replay). I also loaded up the autosave from the end of a 6 hour game, where the effect had ceased, killed the last enemy planet and t

Participation favor should be related to length of the match. So you'd get more points for staying and holding out longer. Would hopefully discourage quitting when losing and encourage people to play their best right to the end.

No mods -- but it does make sense that it could be related to the load on the GPU or CPU, since that is usually directly related to time too. I'll have to try evacuating planets and scrapping everything after a game ends and see if it makes the effect return.

So last I checked it seemed favor points in custom online games were only actually saved for achievements, not for the end-game favor awards. From what I can find this is a bug. I haven't played in the past week or so -- is favor fixed with the recent patch?

When I look at a star at the beginning of the game, it's in this state of flux where the whole surface looks all bubbly and in motion. But if I looks later, this effect slows down, and eventually the animation ceases altogether. Is it supposed to stop, or is it a video driver bug or something?
