Posting it on here and presenting the question in this way introduces a large amount of bias to the sample. Read up on the importance of a random sample for statistical measurements. I've stuck a few Wikipedia quotes in here for you but the articles there are less clear-cut than what you'll see about sampling in statistics textbooks. 1) Samples should not be self-selected. This is where the respondents are those who choose to respond, such as with an interne

Simply put, over the course of the game the animation on the surface of stars gradually slows down and stops, and the texture takes on a pixelated look. When watching a replay, within 30 minutes the animation appeared to move at about normal speed only when running on 8x, so it slowed down to about 1/8. Not sure if the animation itself is what's wrong, or if the pixelation of the star just makes it appear to vanish. After several hours the surface of stars are static asi
Narmoth Ring: Its actually pretty damn good for rook. Gives you more hp, gives you great hp/sec. AND your shoulder mounts also life steal.
Life steal with the shoulder mounts is great. If you need some quick health you can walk around next to a creep battle and get +1 health for every arrow that hits.

I think it'd be great to be able to buy the Demigod soundtrack, by itself. I don't really wanna get the CE version because I don't want a physical copy of the game, don't want a miniature to paint, etc...but I love the music. Any chance of ever seeing it available?
Rarely see 'em. The ones I do see seem to play a strategy called "run the hell away" unless they have good backup, then it becomes "add a bit of damage and try to look scary." Playing against the AI before going online prolly dissaudes even more people from playing her when they realize that the sight of her sets off their internal "easy kill" alert no matter the situation.
TB can own it up, especially Ice TB -- but in my experience most people who pick him in Custom Games tend to die a few times early on, then quit. He can't 1v1 until later in the game though which is why people probably fail as him. He's good at creeping to outlevel people and saving up loads of gold, but an Ice TB early on does not have the damage capability to secure kills unless the enemy is terrible. Fire TB doesn't have all the great ice debuffs to slow down the enemy'
I like it, though it'd be good to find a way to separate out at least two creeping areas so everyone's not all thrown into one spot early on. What if the four paths were extended to loops back behind the citadels? They could meet a bit apart from one another in the middle -- a winner creep wave would fall upon the flank of the other. It'd essentially be three interlocking circles: OOO but overlapping, instead of the )O( you have.
And a few random tips-- "No noobs" lobbies fill up quicker than almost anything, and "New players" lobbies fill up faster than those. Names like "SUPER AWESOME GAME OMG" take forever get enough players to start. [e digicons][/e]
Perhaps the players should have a constant connection to a server somewhere, with the only info passed through being who the host is. The host can just persistantly be saying something like "Hi I'm still here." So if host loses connection he'll lose that one too....server will know host has dropped connection just like the players know. New host chosen at random by server, forwarded to new host, who begins the keep-alive "still here" messages. Problems I can see are
I'd add and have disconnects = losses. I've never heard of a system where you disconect and get a win, that makes no sense. I'm sorry if you have connection trouble at home or dogs and brothers running over your equipment, but its nobodys fault but your own, so you should get a loss and rememdy the problem of dropping to fix it for yourself.
True most games of this nature do stick you with a loss if you quit or disconnect
I usually see Erebi kill towers faster than Reguli. And anyone else. And I hope the eventual two new DGs' names both end in "-us."
The wiki claims however, that the level 3 shoulder mounts raise tower damage by 1 point. For every tower on your side.
Level 3 shoulder (really head because that's the trebuchet) increases damage of the Tower of Light on your shoulder from level 2, but not the Towers of Light that you pull from the ground with Power of the Tower.
The damage of The Rook's Tower of Light is increased.
It follows the same pattern as level 2, where adding the
Will have to try it out on UB or Super Smash Oak.
Yes this means you could end up with 6 winners and 0 losers potentially but each person WON THE GAME THAT THEY PLAYED. They earned the win. It's better than handing out random and nonsensical losses for things completely out of your control, especially if you did indeed win the game.
Agreed that's the only way that really makes sense -- just have all players report their own results.
The main problem with mines is that they really should be named "grenades" to correspond with their usual usage.
Power of the Tower. I get slow loading too, but it seems mostly at specific times -- I think usually around 12am or 1am Eastern, but it varies. Occasional bursts of slowness at other times but they go away quicker. Usually if I wait for the General forum to load it doesn't show the standard topic list either, just the stickies, but when loading speed is normal it shows everything. Yeah very annoying, seems like it happens a lot if creeps walk over the spot too. And edges almost certainly play a role because they screw up all of Rook's stuff. Was playing on Mandala last night and repeatedly failed to RookRoll Sedna when we were both next to the edge by the light base, just kept saying "That is not possible" despite it being ready and having mana and letting me aim with the crosshair thingy -- move away from edge, suddenly I'm able to use my abilities.

The issue is that when you buy a favor item in single-player games, the offline favor points are spent but the item is not saved. Thus, players who regularly play offline or test builds with certain items will quickly run dry on points as the same items must be re-bought, and most cost more than what you'll earn in a match. This occurs for any Demigod, not just Unclean Beast, and should be no more noticeable with him since the items cost the same for everyone. Has been rep
Wow, this is exactly the skill progression I have been using the past few days. Occasionally I skip the Trebuchet though to get God Strength II immediately upon reaching level 10; depending on how much I need the extra chasing power and on which seems more useful for knocking down towers at the time. And to elaborate on level 5 -- I usually will only pick God Strength I before Tower of Light if I think I'll get a lot of chances to hit their towers. A laser on your
Anyone using random demigod option?
Sometimes it doesn't even record anything, not even a loss for everyone else :-/
Same issue. Have only gotten about half my favor because games just flat out don't even show up on Pantheon. Just played two and neither showed up...I'm not even sure if the host has quit on all the ones that haven't been recorded. But last one they quit early in the match.
