I still just hae RoF, it's great for a short period of time, then it's outdated and the later levels of it do not scale well at all. Something with that long of a cast time, with that long of a damage period, which costs almost as much as it damages... grrr.
It's 800 mana for 1500 damage, I'm not sure what you mean by it costing almost as much as it damages.
What is the low down on inspirational flame? I've read before that it's always on once you get it, you don't actually have to be in a RoF or anything. Just in fire mode. True?
Correct. The end result is that you're pretty much set on mana with a single helm. I feel it help TB out quite a bit late game because it lets you bring your health up to par with the DGs who had been more durable than you all game.

The stronger benefits of Deep Freeze are the interrupt and the obnoxious cooldown increase. For example when you're fighting an Oak that you know is going to shield and heal or teleport at low health, you can Freeze him and if he shields in the next 7 seconds it's going to take a whopping 77 seconds for him to shield again (assuming it's max rank). Another example is when you just freeze a Beast before he spits you at the start of a fight. If he follows through he'll have to wait 15 more seco

A mulch build should be able to beat a spirit build pretty consistently, especially after level 10. I'd be up for trying it against someone when we're bored one of these days.

Short game, kind of hard to draw conclusions from it. Generally speaking though, Erebus just has a really high damage threshold before he really starts to lose health, much higher than most DGs. That being said, I don't generally have issues crossing that threshold with UB, Rook after level 4, and Oak after level 8. Most of the time if a game lasts to level 10 Erebus really starts to break down against oak, as the healing off of Divine Justice outpaces Bite's heal and the Penitence de
Definitely true. The StarCraft story is actually pretty good for a video game, especially a strategy video game. Without the single-player I doubt as much interest would have been had in the title when broadband kicked off and more people got online to play.
Starcaft ran perfectly on dialup, assuming your line didn't have problems. I only point that out because it's frustrating that DG has such insane connection requirements.

Intuition tells me it would not be where it is today.
Quake wouldn't have done well without its single player either, but Left 4 Dead did just fine. Gamers' expectations and interests have shifted quite a bit, if you were implying that GPG should have focused more on single player features. I think
The way i buffed Saam-el's Cloak, doesnt even make it viable as a favor item yet, and you want it to be nerfed? That doesnt make any sense [e digicons]:S[/e]
Well the thing is I've been thinking a lot about what's wrong with Regulus lately, and I think one of his biggest weaknesses is his snare dependency. I mean there's lots of good items that don't provice snare immunity, I'm not coming from the angle that it's overpowered, just that its only niche in its current form

Here are some other items which unfairly affect specific Demigods who are already too weak:
- Bejeweled Goggles - +12 vision radius, +10% movement speed, +5 Health per second Can detect normally invisible objects.
The is only one invisible object in the entire game: Mines. I guess my question is this: How many favor items do you currently feel are viable? I apologize for rehashing the same thing I always say, but I honestly believe these favor items are top tier and are all currently used quite frequently: BotF, Cloak of Night, Blade of the Serpent, Horn of Battle, Staff of Renewal, and the Swift Anklets. Personally, I would like to see no changes or extremely minor changes to those core 6 favor items, because the way thin

This doesn't seem like a net gain on total usable favor items, not to mention allies can see whatever you can see so unless there's some special function it would just remove fog of war for the entire team.
Maybe, but the odds have proven this build is much better. Again, top 20 in Fire TB wins with this build.
By that logic If I got Mcshane87 to post here that you're wrong you'd admit you've been mistaken this whole time? Because you're only 20 and he's 18.

I'm technically rank 2 on the entire ladder and that doesn't mean much either. Lemme rephrase my point a bit: if you had picked fire aura instead of stats, would you have lost all those games you won?
Yet I just won again with Fire TB, using the exact same build. Took out 4 towers in a matter of mins, had 1 kill, 3 assists and took out majority of creeps, just like I was supposed to. BTW, I didn't die. Hmmmm.....
You won a game, therefore 300HP/MP>15% team run and attack speed? Compelling logic.

54 Replies 7,780 Views

Lemme just sum up something important here about this thread and the OP's perspective: 300 HP/MP > 15% team run and attack speed You never need speed early to save yourself You should stand in tower range long enough for 300 health to be a huge boon You'll never get an early kill or even try for one It's an absurd set of statements.
