After having read through some of the recent comments on these forums, i.e. especially the ridiculous thread that is Team Boxxy Koush or whatever, I realized I have made a grave error. Scroll back about 10-20 pages and you will see that I said I am neither tier 1 nor tier 2 so obviously tier 1.5 isn't a new idea-- that being said, I don't really care what list I am on if any, cause I suck quite often for varying reasons that would make me tier 7 for a day. But, I do appreciate the purpose of the list-- in that at least here I found the current group of guys that I play with now, some on skype, some on teamspeak, and some on vent (vent being the drug of choice)

Okay, so I think that I figured out the issue, which makes me feel like an idiot if I'm right. I downloaded EVGA's precision software and turned my GPU fan up manually and haven't had a crash since.... Aren't those cards supposed to have a built in temp monitor?? OH well....

Does anyone read these? Ever? Anyway, on the off chance that someone reads this my PC tanked again (because I tried to play again, I know, I should know better-- yes, it happens every time now), but this time to black screen with sound still going from ingame, so I ctrl,alt,del to task manager-- wouldnt let me see the screen, but I told vista to restart the OS-- and it told me that one of the issues that needed to be closed before shutting down was "display driver has stopped work

Ok, so, this happened intermittently off and on for a while and I saw that early on a lot of people posted that with Vista HP SP 2, and Nvidia 9800 GTX GPU they were getting crashes... It just started happening again and I'm really starting to get pissed off.. Is there no solution for this? I have all the updated gpu and sound drivers. The game runs fine on Vista HP SP 2 64 bit on my laptop (Gateway FX gaming laptop, 4 gigs ram, 1 gig 9800M GTS card), but on my home built
I'm on game 5 with no issue, seems to be a trend..... y do u hate me vent!!!!!!!!!!! So, I had like 6 UE's in a row last night, and tried restarting the game, restarting the comp, only basic processes running, rolled back my driver (because I had just updated to the new Nvidia driver when I got all the errors (I have vista hp 64bit, sp2; nvidia 9800gtx). None of these things helped, so I shut down ventrilo and played a game, and WOW, no error.... I downloaded the x64 version of vent, so....does that have anything to do with my errors? Please help me smart pe
