Assuming we are all equal out the gate, a sedna taking BotF and monks will be getting 200 hp every 8 seconds or so. I like taking pounce/inner grace1/wind
Teamwork is already rewarding enough. The more people you have fighting against a demigod, the higher the chances of killing them, which means they will be dead for ~30 seconds (and away from the lane for longer than that) and not get any experience or gold from their mines, while you continue to do so. There is no need to give people such huge rewards for minimal contributions. What about the Sedna who healed the team mate a
... it makes NO SENSE heal lvl 1 is 600 pounce lvl 1 is 400...
Because high priests heal more every 8 seconds without having to spend mana or a cast animation to do so... ? The math is really simple, your just doing it the wrong way. All heals heal more damage than an equal mana cost ability can deal. But no other class can get 30% heals off of high priests. Heal takes tons of mana, so in the early game you take
It's rewarding teamwork. Which is what this game is about, no?
Wrong answer. I know the original design was put there to prevent whiners from complaining about kill stealing. However it has turned into a real mess when a whol team gets an assist off 1 kill, as the OP clearly stated.

Sedna doesn't have issues with leveling unless her teamates are REALLY BAD at playing the game. Level 1 pounce, 2 heal, 3 healing wind, 4 pounce, 5 healing wind 2. You get high priests as soon as possible and stack HP like a beast. Nobody can stay in a lane against 600 dmg pounce and 30% life gain every 8 secs. Sedna's really good at denying opponents from gaining exp while she gets to lane up and rack in the experience. If you are having a difficulty time staying up to your opponents

Trading a death for a kill is just not ever a good idea. If you push a player off the field of battle, you have plenty of time to go capture a flag or assist train another enemy DG that is buisy with a teammate of yours. Use this time of your original target crystal hugging to gain an advantage instead of getting yourself killed and leaving the battlefield even. 1000 gold is not as important as an extra flag, xp, and gold advantage of just being alive and on the battlefield.

The rest are all fun and very playable with different numbers of players.
Stop filling his mind with lies. The game has 3 playable DG and 3 playable maps. The rest were filler so they could release the game on time.

It would take the same amount of shots as a giant with 2.4k health to kill. Would the towers only do % to demigods then. Otherwise i would love this idea implimented.
Yes the original post was about % to demigods only. Towers are actually effective against creeps other than catas and giants. I was once losing a game ( the enemy team was pounding at what towers we had left ) but I had a lot of gold. So instead of buying new armor for me I decided to spend all my gold to get giants and all of the towers attack / defense upgrades. Needless to say, we got our asses handed to ourselves. I would of thought that the towers would at least make a slight difference, but the enemy DGs were ac
upt and aoe stun were his strengths.
I thought so to. Ends up they are complete mana sinks, and any other favor item than BotF makes TB utterly unplayable. I've playtested extensively Pure Ice with BotF, swift anklets, Heavens Wrath, Staff of Renewal, and Serpent Blade. The most viable is swift anklets because of early kill potential and the ability to run away. Late game your ability to kill health stacked opponents becomes nill, even in a group. Erubus does Ao

HoL being 'nerfed' has ruined the viability of this build for me. In all shapes / variants, not being able to replenish my mana / hp at 4000 gold made this mana sink of a build impossible to play. Blade of the serpent is nifty, but doesn't solve the problem. TB was hurt possibly more than any other character by the loss of HoL, but I guess the game as a whole is better because of it.

First off, this build will take your team from 0 warrank and no citadel upgrades to 10 warrank, currency 1, and fully upgraded creeps before your opponents team. Some guidelines about the build are #1: your teamates do there best to NOT die #2: your teamates invest a small portion of there gold to consumables (teleport scrolls and cap locks) #3: your teamates do not use any of there gold to upgrade the citadel, unless you ask them for assistance. <stron

Really guys, the point is still so increadibly missed. Making towers more powerful against DemiGods will not prolong the game more than possibly a minute or so. You are being completely unrealistic about what % based damage from towers would change. Understand that the ONLY effect they would bring to the game, is prevent an already fed/good team from being able to chase a demigod through there base to there citadel and nab a kill. This brings the field of safety much closer to the bat

Games like this should be released with great community development allowed. Warcraft 3 and Starcraft are great examples of why this should be very high on the list of priorities of developer concerns. You basically will have the original DG, and then player content maps/DG that would be downloaded upon entering a server. It is not impossible to do, it just isn't done yet.

Sorry for double posting Back to Back but I wanted to leave information on how to counter regulus. Very 1st rule, is that teleport scroll is regulus biggest weakness. It's 250 gold that will not be wasted. You can teleport and help gank, and you can always escape him. Regulus has no stuns, so if you ever become snared by a reg, just teleport home. He has NO way of stoping you other than killing you and snaring you. Regulus has 3 favor items that allow him to be viable. Heavens

Regulus has to take a pretty big hit to his other skill sets to get snipe at a level where it 'counts'. Early on if your inexperienced enough to allow your HP to drop below 500 with a reg on the map, well you get what you deserve. On a side note I personally feel regulus snipe should have a much larger range, 2 to 3 times more than it currently has. I also think mines should do double damage, and have a smaller cap on how many can be out (like 4 or 3). Currently I hate how mines work.

A lot of posts in this thread. Notice GPG have made revenue from the game in its current state. Repairing the game and using resources to 'enhance' the game past what it is currently would remove that margin of revenue and eventually erode at GPG bottom line. So the bottom line is, this game is as good as its gonna get. In there world, it is 100% finished, playable, released and purchased by the public. The connectivity is good enough to play, and there are enough DG and Maps that you aren't

he means 5 activatable ability slots, and 4 clickable item slots with 1 for favor. I actually agree with this to a certain extent, but it is actually counter intuitive, as increasing the amount of activatable abilities would make demigod development even MORE difficult. That being said, the game should have released with many more DG than it currently has, and a lot more 3v3 and 4v4 maps. 24 DG and 24 maps would have been awesome, but even 12 and 12 would make the game playable. People will still not use them. Plus a game mechanic like this would actually take time to change, and the dev's aren't able to address things that take an hour to fix.

Remove minions from game. Make generals assassins. Monks are overpowered and are always better than damage output from assassins in 1v1 and even 2v2 situations. They made to many things in this game and launched without properly balancing important aspects. Such as erubus having 3 means of invincibility, and 2 extremely viable builds. Sedna's highpriests becoming better healing than any activatable ability can dish out in damage. Certain abilities being useless, yeti's and bestial wrath come
