If you have a bad disc, you may be able to take it back to where you purchased it and swap it out for a good one. Your other option is to use Impulse to download and install the game: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe Once it's installed, you can log in using your forum account. To register the game with your account, click on the help icon in the upper right of the Impulse interfac

That is exactly correct. You will be sent a key, which is redundant, because the key will already be registered to your Impulse account. Just make sure you have 'Show pre-release versions' option turned on, and you should be good to go.

If you purchase an Object Desktop program as a standalone, you get all of the minor updates (2.2, 2.3, etc), but you will need to purchase any major upgrades (2.0, 3.0). You do, however, get a special upgrade price of $8.95, because you have v2: https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/upgrade.asp If you want all of the major updates to our software without having to repurchase every time, I would

Your purchases are under a different account than the one you're logged into here. Make sure you are using the correct account information. If you have any questions about what is going on, send an email to [email protected] and we'll help you out. Dealing with accounts on a public forum doesn't really work so well.

What version of Windows are you using? This is a very common problem on XP x64, as Impulse is not designed for, nor supported on, that OS. The way our MD5 system works (and this is an over simplication, I'll grant you, but it works for our purposes), is similar to taking a sentence, assigning number values to each letter (a=1, b=2, etc), and adding up the corresponding numbers to get a sum. That's your "MD5" (though the real MD5 creates a much more unique signa

Messing with the registry is a dangerous thing, and I cannot, in good conscience, tell you to do something like that. If, however, those entries happen to be deleted, and as long as you know that we can't help you if such a thing did happen and screwed something up, then que sera sera. My official stance, though, is "Don't do that." I'll mention to the developers about having the wording changed, but I'm just a lowly support monkey, so there's no telling what will

It looks like they're already registered to your Impulse account, so you should be good to go. If they're not showing up in Impulse, try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the

To try and resolve this issue, try verifying the application through Impulse. If you need to, you may download Impulse here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe Once Impulse is installed it will give you the option to create a Stardock.net account if you haven't already. If you already have an account, but forgot the password, Impulse also will give you the option to retrieve your acc
