Navigate to Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor and remove the prefs.ini file from the directory. Then launch the game again. Does the issue persist? Also, are you running the game with any mods

Try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will

We had some 'things' happening on our end that have been cleared up. Anyone trying to activate the Demon Assassin or Oculus, log into multiplayer again, and it should work. Sorry about any inconvenience.

There are three versions of the game you can play: Sins of a Solar Empire (vanilla) Entrenchment Diplomacy Each version includes all of the content from the previous version(s), meaning you can't play Diplomacy without Entrenchment's starbases (but why would you want to? Starbases are the coolest!). Trinity is the name of the compilation of all three. It's like saying "S

What do you mean, can't move? Are you trying to pan with edge-scrolling with the mouse, or with keyboard shortcuts? Do the ships not move when you give them commands? Are you playing in windowed mode, or fullscreen? The more details, the better!

Sorry about the silence, we can't see everything all the time. [e digicons]:([/e] We should be announcing the winner at the end of the week, keep an eye out for a news item, and I'll try to remember to link to it here when it happens.

Try manually deleting your settings files. They should be here in XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting You may need to turn on hidden files/folders in explorer first. The main files are user.setting/diplomacy.user.setting and camera.setting/diplomacy.camera.setting When you run the game again, it should recreate them with defaults, but if there was something wrong with the

I usually don't like necro threads (almost 2 years! really?), but for fun, I'll add that with Impulse, you can download an archive of your game, so you can keep a backup copy on a hard drive, rather than optical media. Not only do you have to worry less about disc degradation, but you won't have to download it all again if you ever reinstall Windows.

You are correct, 'Play Sins' gives you just the base game content, or 'vanilla', as it's commonly referred to here on the forums. 'Play Entrenchment' gives you starbases and other content. 'Diplomacy' gets you everything. This also comes in handy when you want to play multiplayer with someone that doesn't have all of the expansions. There was a lot of confusion over the difference between Diplomacy and Trinity when the games first came out, too, so don't worry, you'r

This is a common issue with security software and firewalls. Try adding exceptions in or disabling temporarily any you might be running and see if that helps. If all else fails, feel free to use the Bat Signal: [email protected]

Wormhole. At some point later on in the game, a blacksmith will lose a shield he was working on for you in some freak magic accident, and it will be sent back in time.

As long as you log into Impulse using the same info that you log into the forums with, you should be good as far as that goes. You'll need to create an IronClad Online account (which you can do in-game), but you'll need your serial. You can get it by right clicking on the game in Impulse and selecting 'View Registration', and from there, you can copy it to the clipboard. Once you have your ICO account set up, you should be good to go. (If you opened a support ticket,
