Thanks for that. The video was very cool.Especially considering it was Thanksgiving. Talk about dedicated. :P Love the idea of outposts. I do hope that you'll require a road or some kind of trade route to get the resources though. (Like Civ III ;)) That's one thing that I didn't like about Civilization 5. The magically teleporting resources when trading was done.

Nice video. Thanks for that and Happy Thanksgiving. [e digicons][/e]
Quoting Frogboy, reply 4The beta is going to roll out similarly to how WOM was done. Around Thanksgiving (and it'll be after it because no one wants to be on beta babysit watch during the 4 day weekend) the first phase will go out which will be to people who joined the earliest of the WOM betas. Soon after, it will expand to everyone who was part of the WOM beta process. Soon after that, it'll expand

Can't wait for the beta. Getting a little giddy. The trick for us is to pull Paul (Mormegil) OFF of doing Wildlands to do other things. I walked by yesterday and he had just made the ruins of the Imperium complete with a functioning

4th in line I guess. [e digicons]x_x[/e] I bought my copy in September. Hopefully the Betas can keep us informed with AARs or something at least.
Frogboy - I really think you just need to bite the bullet and convoy your AI settlers. My preferred strategy is to always send a settler out with at least 1 guard unit. If it's a primo site I might even send 2 guards. Nothing worse than losing a settler & then seeing your opponent build a city right where you wanted to. And unless you're giving the AI an unfair advantage on new city 1st unit buil
I made a really sweet mod for GalCiv2:TA that featured 10 classic scifi races with nonlinear tech trees in that sense. I would say, with the mod, it is still the best TBS game I have ever played. Now if the 3rd one has tactical battles on par with FE, that all may change. It was just so easy to fine tune the game to my liking. The key to making GalCiv better turned out to be limiting the weapons to very low numbers, only giving two

So if that's really your opinion, you should go find a different game. Heroes VI is out and so is Sword of the Stars II, you might want to check them out. Well my wording was a bit too strong but I stand by my comment that I would have never bought E:WoM without a p
Quoting Satrhan, reply 102I'm pretty sure I will enjoy playing FE, but are you seriously suggesting we go play a game which's release was so bad it was called 'elemental-like'? The word surreal comes to mind here... There is a reason there are few...very few indie PC games of significant scope being made anymore. It's very very difficult to make them. And it's even harder to release them. &
E:FE will be good. It's being made with that special ingredient after all. ;)

Brad told us that FE would give us cancer. I imagine the Beta will darn near kill us outright.
Lol. I'd like at least fishing boats. That way you could harvest the bounty of the sea. Arrr!
Yay! Something new and it is impressive indeed. [e digicons]:star:[/e]

I'd love to see boats and naval action but I'd rather see them perfect the land side of things first.
