The once per planet ideology improvements had the points generated changed from 1 every 10 turns to 1 every 5 turns, however the description of the ideology trait still says 1 every 10 turns. <img src="http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/272840175095525372/DFDFC928B1D8495D7405C67235F4546FCD0EFA72/" alt="" width
Ironically i believe that that is bugged at the moment, and the AI is paying maintenance. What i would like to do it, make is so all players, including the AI, only pay 1/2 maintenance when stationed. I will look into it regardless. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for looking into it.
Currently AI opponents do not pay maintenance for ships that are stationed, this applies for all difficulties. While this would be OK for higher difficulty levels, normal and below this should not be so. From GalCiv3AIDefs.xml Maintenance <
It is possible to upgrade a mercenary when it is stationed. I have tested with colonies, starbases and shipyards, and with all of them it works. The treaties apparently aren't both ways. What's on the left side is what you give, what is on the right is what you receive.
Quoting , quoting post Also are they even working? I don't see anything in the tool-tip. They do work, just not like one w
I thought the treaties worked both ways. So all this time I've been making my opponents stronger. Oops. I have seen the AI research treaties, that is how I have access to all 3 at the same time. Edit: Thinking about it, are you sure that's right? I remember being able to give and receive treaties, however I haven't seen the treaties on the AI's side in some time, even if I know they have it researched.
The terran and ideology trait are both -50% to decay distance which in most cases shouldn't go all the way to zero. Can you submit a save game so we can take a look? https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
I really liked the 0% decay, but if you say this isn't intended here is the support tic
The Prototype Survey Module is unlocked by Interstellar Travel. It's been this way for quite some time.
Got this on another one, every other new colony actually. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that they require Atmospheric Cleansing to colonize. Replied
It's possible to obtain 0% decay no matter what the distance is if you have one of the racial traits of the Terrans, Engineers I think it was called, and a Pragmatic ideology trait.
I got a Precursor colonization event for a non-Precursor planet. <img src="http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/307740815100188439/E5AACD901657F88A87DBF453578
I have a trade route with the Arceans that isn't displayed in the Trade tab or getting the diplomacy bonus for it. The trade route exists, I can't create a second one between the same two planets. <img src="http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/307740815100187817/74863A37C64FE5A02BD416464EA4DAC4AA6AD282
I replied to the automated email with a save game attached that is 1 turn before a UP meeting.
The Alliance Focus specializations don't seem to unlock anything.
After forming an alliance with another civilization Declare War On is no longer available in the trading screen. Support ticket: #NME-241-68168
In the tooltip in the United Planets screen the wrong relations are displayed. I have At War with the Krynn and Allied with the Iridium, this is false for both. Also,
I don't like the fact that I am limited to 4 random resolutions in the UP. I'd prefer if all the unlocked resolutions would be available to choose from when you are the chairsapient.
The Temple of Enlightenment planetary improvement is classed as an approval improvement, however it boosts research and it's adjacency bonus is also for research. Support tichekt: #FCG-730-18700
In the trading screen the credits section remains when scrolling down through what is available to trade.
The AI does not register a difference when trading different quantities of same trade resource type. This is bad for AI opponents because these resources stack. Anothe
As it stands it is possible to have multiple treaties of the same type with another civilization. For example I have a Cultural Treaty with the Arcean Empire and in the trading screen I can offer them another one. This is very unbalancing as the AI values them a lot. <img src="http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/3077
They are free in the sense you don't construct them, not that they don't have a maintenance cost.
