Sanchezz as mine your reply is corrupt. I tried to watch my reply because I like to see what other people do in first 15 min and I like to watch chat between teams. As it turns out reply loads but ships don't move while credits are collecting. Downloaded your reply and same thing happened. So what i think is that guy we were waiting for actually left and wasn't afk as we thought but because game didn't finish properly replays are corrupt. By the way after stats screen my game

The problem with long matches is that in most cases to be viable you need to play them with people that are your friends or at least people that live in the same time zone. Otherwise problem of getting 6 as in 3v3 or even 10 people to get up for a game that lasts for 3 or more hours is almost insurmountable as RL ....

I say progen just for the fact or very rapid expansion ( i usually build 4 scouts and 4 disc to go with it) and for the fact that given you are getting cheaper planet upgrades you can get 2nd cap which for me is halcyon for free or at least as great discount. I think that progen is best if you do it as first cap or not build it at all but if you go against tec or another advent lvl5 progen is hard to kill. If u have 2 guy will loose half of the fleet before he focus fire kills 1
They do things only when some numbers directly triggers them to do so, I don't feel any strategy, calculations behind actions like in war management, researching and empire building in which I find AI can perform very well.
What you are suggesting suggests intelligence which as far as AI goes it's still at least 20 - 50 years away if ever...

http://www.world-mysteries.com/sar_1.htm here is the quick google search link about maps of antarctica Will post link about "vase" later EDIT On the same page you can find hundreds of cases that modern science cannot explain. Like batteries in ancient Egypt etc. There is vase somewhere inside as well (cannot find it at the moment as my source is scientific magazine from a few years back) but

Just one more thing Everyone is saying Why would they bother with problems of making such a journey. Well perhaps for them crossing galaxies its like for us going to the shop next door. Also I do disagree that they would have to develop all technologies we invented so far. If you follow all modern breakthrough technologies they all have something in common they try to mimic nature. That is something new to us. Before it was use and abuse nature till the e

@ trigorin Try following place like 2 or 3k of bounty simultaneously on 2 different AI players. What you will notice they will engage in biding war between each other. I said 2-3k just because you don't want bounty to disappear before biding war starts. Heck 500 credits is enough as long as both have more bounty as you do. I think code works like this. If there is bounty already on AI bids at "player" (AI or human) that has most bounty on other t

You could also look at it that they know we are here but they don't really notice us like we humans don't notice ant or a bug. Yes some of them are interested in "lower" species and they study them.... Unless they bite us or in some other way annoy us we just let them be. If they cross our path.... Well then we destroy them [e digicons]}:)[/e]

I think exp points given per ships are meant to mirror tier of research. I don't know if command points mirror that as well but at least as lrms go they do seem to miror tiers.

@Haldur In my first post I did put documentary into the quotes. Movie is shoot as documentary and yes I believe in life on other planets. Are some of them technologically much more advanced than us. Yes they are. And I believe some of them have technology we haven't event start to dream about and if we saw it we wouldn't even recognize it as technology. "Any sufficiently advanced technology is like magic." I think Isac Asimov said that

@ whiskey according to the documentary I'm referring to person under hypnosis who is "possessed" read controlled by alien being and while this person levitates she with weird voice says I am your God. There is some other language spoken which according to some linguists dates to ancient Sumerian. Just so you know. By the way 1: People started to worship GODS on the basis of natural or artificial

I people want to write scripts for AI AI will never get smarter and so far as AI goes scripts are pretty much reality... If they try to create AI according to previous post people need to realize that they must not restart AI from game to game but somehow enable AI to use experience and decisions from previous games... But even then it will take time for AI to grow from infant to child and eventually into wise man.... Until then cheating is the only way AI will be a

Thanks for quick replies. The thing is I can play .mkv files by windows media player (codecs are working) but because they aren't natively supported by program they don't show up in menus while browsing from TV. [e digicons]>:([/e]

Hi I've been wondering if someone knows of a program that can stream .mkv files to TV and that program can be controlled throughout TV itself. Let me explain I have TV with BRAVIA engine with which I can aces all files that are in shared folders and Windows media player can play via TV control. In Windows media player I have streaming on home network turned on and firewall is configured in a way that TV can aces files in shared folders. Now the problem I have is that

True they can get phasic traps but that is tier 4 research and if you surprise your guy and kick out 1 or 2 of his cap ships drones accompanied with disciples that you build afterwards give you the edge over skirmisher spam he's going to try to build once he sees your 5 drones. My strategy is meant as a rush tactic versus rush tactic of 2-3 skirantras. However up until now I wasn't able to make it work against skilled player with 4 skirantras and skirmisher sp
Halcyon + Defense Vessel is pretty much Advent's only viable opener currently; anything else will just get you swamped by assailants and bombers. Of course, this combo is inflexible and predictable, so it's hardly the cure-all.
Never tried this one but I've been quite successful with my drones combo. Thing with my combo is that it lets you play on offence while defence vessel spam lets you be only on defence and nevertheless you will proba
