Well, I hope you guys end up in the position to do one. I loved the box art on the Rebellion one I've got. It looks great on the shelf next to my original Sins box.
Wintercross
Their new game is cannon... however note they always say " Ur-Quan continuity". This leads me to believe their game is a split timeline or something. Perhaps the Hero and his ship where cast back in time after the Samatra exploded or something? Or some other sort of event that creates an alternate timeline.
Just wondering if there will be a physical release of this game when it's done. Personally, I avoid buying games online as much as possible. I prefer to buy a physical box with the disk inside. Luckily for me we had a physical copy of Rebellion in Australia so I was able to get it. Anyway, I was wondering if you will consider distributing physical copies? Or are you intending on digital only?

The world, the cut scenes and even the briefing is very high production value i thought. And sure hope there will be DLC, because the game ended in a damn cliffhange
Yeah mining looks like it will be a fun and involving occupation... however I'd rather be the hired muscle patrolling the area to protect the miners =P
YES! More RTS is sorely needed these days! The genre is resting right now as Grey Goo isn't good enough so there's only StarCraft II that's a big title right now. I'm hoping for Servo to be smallscale (Dawn of War) where skill matters (using abilities and being fast). Something like Supreme Commander is not interesting to me.
I'm the opposit
OH man.... no fighter refueling? That was one of the coolest things in Homeworld.... I kind of want the fighter squads of HW2 with the refuelling mechanics of HW1

Thanks for this, I'll keep it in mind if I ever end up with one of these.
Agreed. I understand why Ironclad made combat in Sins the way it is. The performance cost would have been way too high at the time if they used physics in combat the way Homeworld used it. Sins to this day still has that late game lag issue from thousands of objects being on the map at the same time. Depending on how big your map is too. Consider all of those map, and unit calculations being made without the physics. Then imag
Sins did what Homeworld could not do. Sins Gave us "Grand Strategy". Combat on multiple fronts. Exploration. Diplomacy yada yada. These things that Homeworld did not have. What i wanted was a grand strategy game that was "similar" to Homeworld, and Sins did indeed deliver in that respect. So Sins has earned its place among the classics. Homeworld focus's more on a local Tactical arena. One map. One area. I cant imagine HW
Other pirate factions that will show up are; Liberty Rogues, The Mollys, Blood Dragons and one of the pirate groups from Rheinland space.
the all look very cool are the corsairs going to be a full playable faction or just pirates or something?
Corsairs are both going to be the 'pirates' plus fully playable at a later date. They will be hard to play as though, they won't be able to colonise planets till mid to late game for one thing. Though they will have lots of abilities geared towards stealing credits and resou

There is another thing that sucks, and that is the aiming and accuracy system. In the original game, your accuracy would mean shots would veer off within certain angles. That means even if you missed the shot, you might hit the alien standing next to him. Hell, some times with an auto-shot you'd hit the intended target, the guy next to him and then the fuel pump behind them blowing them to bits. I enjoyed the new Xcom as a strategy lite game, but as an Xcom game it really let i
Make sure you freeze the model after scaling too or it won't carry through.

I swapped my Aurora out for a Mustang. Felt it would be a better choice for starting out in the PMC business.
