when do u plan to do a new build
I'm still working on the Bretonia update which adds them in as playable. I'm about 90% done with it, but there are a few vital things that need to be completed before I can release it.

I personally found it average... but the music was terrible! It didn't fit the feel and time period of the movie at all and seemed really jarring to me. It would be like watching Aladin with all the music replaced with Russian folk music, or watching Brave with a dubstep score.
TL;DR: download it from soil.url.ph/?c=downloads and play "tutorial" [e digicons]:)[/e] Yes, I have moving turrets. Difference between my game and many other RTSes is that bullets/missiles/beams aren't "homing",like in Sins IIRC, where every shot is guaranteed hit, but are flying around and checking collisions with all stuff. That means that firing at front of ships is more likely to miss than from side, because targets profil

What kind of features does your game have? Do you have moving turrets? I might be interested in using the engine. As far as my skills, I do a little bit of everything in Sins. Though I'm traditionally more 2d/texture work I've learnt Sins entity coding and model conversion to be able to make Sins of the Sirius Sector. I'm pretty interested to hear more any way!

She's sitting in my hanger getting a good once over by the AMX-1 Repair Bot getting her back to a duty ready state. After the bot has her back to 100% I'll give her a good wash and see if she needs new paint. Can't wait to get you guys over to my hangar, getting in and out of this one is just cool as hell.&nbs
Remember though, the copyright is on the content, not the physical media (plastic CD disc, paper pages, etc.). If someone loans me a CD or DVD, then I get to experience the content for free. Whether or not the first party gives a copy of the physical media or not is largely irrelevant. The end result is the same, two people (or more) experience content where only one has paid.
Yeah, in
Actually, fun fact; if you BUY something, and have ONE copy, and THEN lead that ONE copy to someone, then its fine. There's only so much passing around that can happen with that and no one who is a fair sensible person cares. And in libraries its temporary ownership, IIRC some libraries pay full price for every copy they have although some are donations. In my state, most videos you must pay a small fee to check out. [/q

Get your dogfight on all you Aurora jockeys and prove to the world that all of that training and holding your own in a sub par combat ship means you're just a super nova of death in a real combat
TCA is kind of an amalgam of various portrayals of Humans in hard sci-fi and whatever mad ideas Makon comes up with. The Super Carrier was my idea, I ported in the Vesuvius from Wing Commander because we needed an impressive Super Carrier and my argument won over everyone =P <br
The tangent color is mostly based on rotation values. The most basic, and method of last resort is to make your tangent UV map really small, disconnect any problem triangles and rotate them until they have whatever color you're going for. However, if you have access to 3ds max, I highly recommend this video Lavo made. Sadly he goes mute near the end but he shows how to properly save 3ds max autosmoothing data

Hey, was wondering if someone with more modelling experience could help me out with something. I'm trying to get the tangents on some of my ships to look 'smooth' specifically on the fighter cockpit glass and some of the more curved ships body. The issue I'm having is I can't seem to work out how to make it all smooth and one colour. It ends up looking like flat polygons in game rather than having a nice smooth shape.

@harpo99999: Back when I worked there we didn't have any overseas call centres, however there were a lot of Australian citizen indians/pakastanis working in the call centres. Since I left they have outsourced call centres to the Philippines I think. I always said when I was there that it would be a bad move to outsource our call centres. @benmanns: Nah its all good. When I worked for them I never signed an NDA. The only thing I wasn't allo

You know, I've worked for Telstra in the past and you would not believe the crazy regulations forced upon them. For one, all the prices are regulated to stay above a certain amount which is why Telstra tends to be more pricey. Here is one of the dumbest restrictions though; if I had a customer call me regarding their account, be it phone or internet or whatever... I'd punch the number into our system, and it would bring up their details of their conne

Fact is all the politicians suck. The best we can do is try to pick the least suckiest at the time. Which as Labor showed us with the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd 'switcheroo', can't even be guaranteed anyway. edit: I mean, do you really think that slime ball Bill Shorten will be any better? Pity we can't fire ALL the politicians and start fresh.

41 Replies 116,695 Views

Well, I know for a fact in Australia that Telstra is restricted in their prices and are actually not allowed to lower them past a certain point to give the 'smaller' telco's a chance or whatever excuse they use. So it always makes me laugh when Optus or biased opinion 'news' like Today Tonight say that Telstra has such high prices. They're actually forced to comply because they own the majority of the infrastructure (as a legacy of once being Government owne
