Same here. Well its even important to push it?

Dont kick me, but I push push push! :)
Will there be also a windowed build of version 3a? PRETTY PLEASE.. I was so happy to have it!
Final Version = Full Screen Only?? (not like now, 2 builds... would be very nice to have!)
Well... so its an bug afterall... :) Coz I still can plant starbases. Select the constructor, which is in a starsystem orbit, and via the Info button, U still have the "plant" button available. :) But, THERES NO SYSTEM DEFENSE in this game. The whole game is based on attack only. All the available defense buildings gives only bonuses to defending in orbit circling ships. Why not give some buildings or constructions for planet/system defense. E.g. MOO2 like: Mis
Same Problem with systems and other ships on the path... The path does not alter itself in front of other obstacles. U have to move the ship per hand around those and then U can use the autopilot again.
Dear High Council (= Programmers)! Whats Ur input about this?
No No. (b) just says... if its my last system, I've got, its not feasable that this system defects to the enemy... And before it defects, I would rather destroy it, since its my last homeplanet, I've got.
Its because they are good defenses in star systems. Or lets say... I get 2 benefits... the starbase as starbase benefit and the system secure, due starbase as defense, benefit. At least, I dont need to have a expense fleet to secure my systems... I just plunge one of these starbases in there.
Best thing happened to me was: Alien race conquered my homesystem sol. In the same sector I had my last system with just one colony on it. And what happened 5 turns later... they defected to the alien race, which raged my sol system. a) never ever would I defect to a race, who killed all people of the home world system. (If U attack with an transporter, U eradicate all enemy beings there, leaving just one race left... the winners) b) never ever would I as fled goverment, lef
Well maybe I describe it on some wrong way. Again... the Starbase is built in my Planetary System (e.g. Sol) and is showed in the "Ships in Orbit" list. Now I have another Constructor in this "Ships in Orbit" list and I want that constructor (slot 2) to update my starbase (slot 1) of that list.
But still his question about upgrading a Starbase in his own Planetary System is not answered. Or did I miss something... If I build a starbase into a planetary starsystem (not somewhere into the sector!), I can not move the constructor vessel onto it. Since the vessel only returns to an empty spot and does not ask me to upgrade the already built starbase. Anyone knows how?
Hi! Just wondering how to upgrade a built starbase in a system. Its not easy to plant it either... U have to select the Constructor and then say "Plant Starbase"... but nowhere can I select a "Upgrade existing Starbase". Since Starbases are good systemdefenders, why not use them.
Coolio... :D
Well... its not a problem to set a fixed size window instead of fullscreen then. Its not important to alter the size of the window anyway, since most users nowadays work with a screen resolution of 1024x768. I would only like to have the possibility to switch from fullscreen to windowed mode. So I can control other running programs at the same time I play the game. Eg. Nothing to do... have to wait for customers.. why not play on a some turns in GalCiv while waiting... as soon some o
Can't it be possible to allow also playing the game in a (if more suitable to realize -> fixed sized) window? Switchin' via the shortkeys ALT+Enter? The big advantage of that game is, it even runs on NT 4.0 smooth and steady. But only fullscreen... and just to verify my point, a fullscreen game on a firms computer doesn't look too good. If the game would allow windowed mode instead, it would be far easier and faster to hide and handle... ;) Lookin' forward to response...
