well, better try it first and see wether you like it. that´s why there are trial versions it´s good software, but with some bad luck your computer might not like it (i had some pretty bad experiences in the past), the performance also depends on your operating system.

well, i heard rumours about Longhorn that should worry you far more than it´s skinnig abilities. btw: ShellWM is a program, not a hack.

so you wabt to have different color sets in one theme? this works like this: create RC files where you put the color specific settings (and dont put them into step.rc) like colorset1.rc, colorset2.rc, colorset3.rc, ... create one file called color.rc. in color.rc put this line: include "$path$colorset1.rc" in step.rc put this line: include "$path$color.rc" then you can use textedit2.dll to overwrite color.rc. you can create a !b

to be honest, i do not think that PaintShop Pro has anything to offer that Picture Publisher doesn´t. also if you are young and think about doing graphics professionally one day, go Photoshop. else everybody will laugh you straight in the face if you tell about experiences in PaintShop Pro.
i had the same experiences with ObjectBar and DesktopX when i was on Windows98. no need to vomit though, the meaning of a trial version is to try out if it works for you. with all the different software and hardware around for pcs it´s rather unlikely that a program works flawlessly on all possible cofiguration.

actually IP files are nothing else than renamed ZIP files. just unpack them and then you´ll have either an ICL or lots of ICOs.
