gef: when XP was new LiteStep had some problems with the systray. of course LiteStep development has not stopped and the systray works fine now some modules work under XP/2K only (eycandy stuff as per-pixel alpha-blending). examples are layercut.dll, grdtransparent.dll your graphics have always been some of the really beautiful around, so i´m pretty sure a lot of people would appreciate ne

mostly correct. modules.ini reminds the position. but there are no direct settings for X and Y position in step.rc. the most simple solution (if the wharf has a titlebar) would of course be dragging the wharf to the screen edge. other would be to unload the wharf module, change modules.ini and recycle. your solution is smart, but disables most of the dragging feature the wharf has

that´s sad. i don´t understand how anybody can have issues with you speaking your language .... after visiting your website and seeing the third image on the picture site i understand that Moebius (Giraud) impressed you as you said in the "art thread"

looks like this dock is closest to the original at the moment. looks very nice. are you using 128x128 icons here? probably not as the maximized icons look jagged. i still wonder what people would want to skin here ... there nothing more to change than the icons and the background

i´m not registered at KDE-Look, so first of all: thanks a lot for this wonderful new icon set i love the Mozilla icon btw. true, there aren´t to many great themes for KWM, real window skinning happens in the Enlightenment scene. and i fully agree with you that there are plenty of helpful people in the *NIX community.

oh, i was not speaking about Wincustomize specifically, all sites have this problem i guess. btw: i don´t think that wallpapers (that usually use the most space in a zip file) are required for LS themes any longer, now that layercut and shortcut3 (and rainmation & rainlendar) support per-pixel alpha blending. on the other hand one can use a half-naked anime chick as wallpaper and downloads will increase dramatically <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/grim.gif" border=0

sure, but to use the "common modules" was never a must. i was more thinking of the space modules use in ZIP files (executables can´t be compressed too much). i heard some sites had problems with the used bandwidth recently

"The last time I checked in, they said they weren't going to announce who the developers were anymore, and floach, the site, didn't seem to exist. I'll dig a bit." that was a while ago. obviously most people did not like that "hidden dev team" idea. so the IndieStep dev team was formed and there was a codefork (not really a codefork, as the dev team that called itself "official" never released anything and quit recently). currently Ilmcuts and Message are the core of LS development.
