Carlitus: porting your icons to Linux will be very easy. Linux uses alpha-transparent PNGs as icons. also any resolution is supported. Nautilus, the default file manager and desktop of Gnome, allows you to scale the icons to any size (even bigger than the desktop if you would want that). you just need a directory structure and put all icons in the correct folder. download a set at kde-look.org to see how this is structured. if you still need help, don´t hesitate to contact me <img src="http://im

this has happened in the past and will happen again and again ... the whole concept of Zoomer objects leads to this situation how about enabling that Zoomer thing to use the *.ico format directly?
this has nothing to do with the IndieStep build. this is a little bug in LSTS and has been there before. it happens when there is no *thm file in the theme´s folder. just load LSTS, edit the settings of the theme and your done.
Mark: when i see your enthusiasm i am pretty sure you will soon be able to modify themes yourself for your personal taste and integrate the plug-ins you need. that´s one of the most fun parts in LiteStep.
Mark, with literally hundreds of plug-ins it´s quite clear that the mail checker plug-in is not integrated in every theme. here is an awesome skinnable freeware program for your needs: http://www.glabouni.com/EzPop/ all major skin sites (except WinCustomize) have a section for EzPop skins.
Intel processors does not necessarily mean i*86 processors. so don´t expect OSX for PCs.
i wonder how that should be categorized. btw: i can´t imagine there is a theme without systray. which theme do you mean (link please, i am not going to browse the entire section)?
as far as i know SuSE only offers some kind of demo for free. runs completely from the cd and does not write on your hd.
i don´t see a problem with this. i hope you are aware that LiteStep is not an operating system, but a shell (use it with 2k for PNG alpha transparency)
depends on if you desperately want to use KDE3 for easy use i would recommend SuSE or Mandrake. difference: SuSE already has KDE3 in the latest version of their distro, but you can´t download an *.ISO of SuSE (somehow they manage to avoid the GPL > ). all the interesting window managers (especially Enlightenment
how to use LiteStep: http://lsdocs.shellfront.org/
yep, looks like it is directly ripped from the Wincustomize site skin. direct links: http://www2.kazaalite.com/ http://www1.kazaalite.com/ did you send a mail to Pixtudio?
as far as i know Pharoe often uses something to autoload the matching wallpapers. you change the wall with LSTS, so you don´t need this. in Sputnik the wallpaper gets changed with mzscript. open all(!) *.rc files and search for this line: *Script Start !wallpaper .stretch $Wallpaper$ you can delete this line. you also can delete the line that loads LSWChanger: LoadModule $ModulesDir$Lswchanger.dll
i wonder what that scroll thing at the bottom is.
hey Jafo, don´t care bout the y resolution if all y values are the same If ResolutionX = 800 ChronosX 174 VWMX 368 *Slider "" 456 -13 2 Volume1.png Volume-Handle.png #0ABHTIU [VOLUME] 0 *Slider "" 456 -13 2 Volume2.png Volume-Handle.png #1ABHTIU [VOLUME] W *Slider "" 456 -13 2 Volume3.png Volume-Handle.png #2ABHTIU [VOLUME] 5 ElseIf ResolutionX = 1024 Chro
first of all: this text is copied and pasted from my hd, because i am sick of hearing this kind of questions over and over again and the answer will be the same anyways. the ultimate answer for your problems is: read the manual!!! it is on your hd or if you are not able to find it, look here: http://lsdocs.shellfront.org/ if you use the LiteStep Installer by Omar, please be aware that this Distribution of LS uses a theme format called OTS. so the themes need to be compatible wi

Migellito: there is something i just found out. it is very comfortable to do the skinning with the GUI, but it uses hard-coded paths. will have to report this bug to Rainy. to get rid of the errors, open rainlendar.ini in the skin´s folder and erase all the paths. example: EventBitmapName=C:\Programme\rainlendar\Ginza_II\event.BMP ----------------> -----------------> EventBitmapName=event.BMP
oh, and i just found the original Wbiff: http://tucows.sympatico.ca/tucows/preview/194139.shtml
there is a codefork of Wbiff available here: http://www.liquidninja.com/projects/ works fine with Windows, not sure about hotmail (you shouldn´t use hotmail anyways )
joetheblow: totally agree that those ads are stupid as hell. i guess that´s because they are directed to stupid people. there are billions of them
and did i mention that Rainy´s Rainmeter is the most skinnable meter program?
that´s Rainlendar by Rainy: http://gamma.nic.fi/~rainy/Rainlendar.html an awesome program, fully skinnable, supports alpha-transparency even under win 9.x and a third party app can even import data from outlook. i would love to see Pixtudio skins for this as i use it everyday.
strange, but maybe that´s a Hotmail problem as it does not use POP3. it´s protocol is proprietary and not documented.
which skin do you use? then i can tell you exactly where to click.
