Kill them all.
Impossible, if certain situations arise, such as a destabilization of power that results from the defeat of one attacker which results in a shift of alliances, which results in more fleets attacking your planets.

But then again, you should focus on his combat units and then send your ACTUAL attack force around his fleet.
so if the dude dosnt micro his targets i'll kick his flak while he tryes touching my fightrs all around the well
Yeah, doing that is SO funny, I mean, you could have a fighter squadron just go around and around the GW at the start of a battle, get id of their flak frigs from the main fleet, or force them to micro-manage every combat moment, which is HARD in MP.
They should have 1/4 to 1/2 (top/bottom hemispheric) the AA guns as the equivalent faction flak frigate and whatever else needs to be adjusted (cost, supply) should be adjusted around it. I agree completly with the OP.
Well, they are cruisers, which means that they are supposed to be more specialized than frigs, so maybe one ASC (anti-strike craft) gun and like a low power gun like what siege frigs have. Or, if your not cont

Yeah, the Vasari do have their problems. If the Overseer's jump degredations were cumulative, that would wreck game balance, but it would be awesome, because you could force an enemy fleet to go to sublight speeds between stars, and gain control over the entire phase network if you get them out quickly. But then again, if you had three, then thats 150% phase speed decrease, so how the hell would that work? I really like the Advent overall.

Like they both said, if you read the info card b4 construction, it says "...to any other node in the same star system", which kinda sucks to me. It would be great if you could go system to system directly w/ Long Range Jumps tech and the Kostura in the target system (so it doesn't take FOREVER for the shot to get to the target)

Whenever Chuck Norris uses a Marza Raze Planet on an asteroid, it turns into a terran world full of naked woman The Advent were banished by the Trade order because they were "sinful", that's because of Chuck Norris, so he gave the Trade Order a couple round-house kicks, but one missed and destroyed most of the Vasari Empire. Chuck Norris is the reason the cover planet is volcanic, it happened after one of his sperm crash landed The original name for the game was "Sins

Now, based on experience, I have reasoned my first cap ship tshould be the colony cap ship. After that, I still have difficulties... to some extent. First of all, should a large amount of light frigs and a couple scouts be sufficient in the start. After LR frigs are researched, should I completely use them to substitute the light frigs? Or a combination? And after HCs are available, should I bring those in? (Note that I'd prefer all responses to mention ALL factions, and I am playin
Kostura Cannons are GOLDEN (if you have Entrenchment).
What do they do in Entrenchment again? (Gonna get in a week or two, so don't reply after that) And besides what GoaFan77 said, can they still use their original capability from vanilla?

Civil war, you say? If that were true, then all sides would stop fighting... each other, that is. (Only because they are a little busy fighting their bretheren). And if there were to be a civil war in all the factions, then the question would be, which side could have a single leader come forth, and lead their side to victory over the other still-warring broken up factions. In that case, who would the victor be??? It would be a question of when they break down, who on what side would hol

Ok, thakn you everyone, and I will probably get it by the end of the year at the latest, but one more thing, I had a problem downloading Impulse, and it doesn't exactly work, so do I need Impulse to download Entrenchment?
They fight it out til the new enemy is wiped out.
Ok, first of all, if the pursuers could wipe out the ENTIRE Dark Fleet, then how are a bunch of modified trade ships and a bunch of angry zealots going to defeat them, when a ten thousand or more ship armada couldn't and only left a single capital ship left alive? Second, how, exactly are the Advent and TEC going to "get along" again, if the Advent have a permanent scar on their mentality that the TEC are the M
With a name like "Noobkiller" we can only assume that you play the game online against human opponents and that you're pretty good at it.
Giant bomber fleets are one of the most vicious things imaginable.
No, they aren't. The MOST vicious thing is a hacking player who has 50 battleships, 100 heavy carriers, and 150 each of the other cap ships, 1000 each of every cruiser, and 2500 each of eery frigate except colony frig.[e digicons]:(O[/e]
