Hunam, seriously. I obviously stepped into a very loaded conversation on accident. Bro, HALF the karma you even HAVE is from me because I always value your opinion and think you're a great voice on a lot of things. But this, though? This is a little too much. I posted on here just to say I felt like Sean was purposely deceitful in order to get as many front-loaded sales as possible and felt cheated about the

Seems pretty sensible, actually... Thirdly, I heard him talk about "multiplayer" a million times, always couching it in the fact that it's not multiplayer because the universe is so big. I would
Riddle me this, Hunam_ - Did No Man's Sky developer Sean Murray say you will ABSOLUTELY be able to see other people in case you run into them, as it's a shared galaxy (Yes, he did.)?
Yes, he mentioned it once in ONE Colbert interview. A year before the release. Every other interview denies the presence of MP. Like about dozens of them?.. If you did a minimal research on the matter as I did you'd have a cle

^ It is your fault if you've no clue what you're buying and then complain it doesn't do what you wanted it to do. If you pre-order, you have no right to complain. If you buy without research you have no right to complain. So yeah, pretty much is SCO fails, YOU have no right to ask for your money back.

@Alverez It's been mentioned several times already. They are able to use everything SC related as they own it. They won't out of respect to Paul and Fred's work. I, myself, stopped caring about SC2 lore since SCO is promised to have a completely new, its own lore.

Just throwing it out here. I have no clue what SFB is. I've never touched anything SFB related in my life. I've not even lived in US until 2000. A lot of founders here aren't from US and they have not a slightest idea what SFB is. The rest are too young to know it. All I did was wiki'ed SFB and that's about it. Not really into researching the whole shebang about it. So yeah... I watched Babylon 5 and BattleStar Galactica for the first time like couple of ye
^ Yes, SM completely Moleneux'ed it, and that insider info you posted explains it just like that. Though that does not have any bearing on SCO. We don't have Andrew getting on the Late Show. Plus, Stardock is a more trustworthy company than Hello Games. I've lived through a Stardock flop. They made things right by scrapping the faulty game, starting from scratch, and giving out free
The main reason I could go crap all over NMS is because they are charging $60 for what is essentially an early access indie title with a fraction of the features originally promised. https://www.reddit.com/r/NoMansSkyTheGame/comments/4y4i3a/wheres_the_nms_we_were_sold_on_front_page/ So, they didn't just

One time it crashed on me at the start, 'cause I OC'ed my video card "improperly" and it corrupted the mXML (config) files and wouldn't start until I deleted the full install and reinstalled it. Good thing your saves can be kept. I must tell you, this game has a daily "WTF is that" moment and endless pool of alien world landscape wallpapers.

What specs you got? I couldn't resist the urge of scouring planets and all them ships and multi-tools goodness... XD I've got i5-4690K w/ MSI GTX 970 4GB and apart from semi-minor occasional stutter after I played with my video settings a bit I've no problems. So far reddit documented nearly every major issue (not able to start, low fps) with the current game release. HG knows about nearly all of it and Sony brought QC team in that's bigger than HG...

Get a badass crazy looking spaceship 2. Get a badass crazy looking gun 3. Upgrade e

I'll cut through your bullshit real quick then. I've not read a single review on MC complaining about the galaxy size. Have you? What I found there though is bunch of little twerps saying something along the lines: "Tetris sucks, 'cause no headshots" and scoring the game 0-2. I gather you have no clue what NMS is yourself... Here's a fine example of "innocent" player review and score (with my notes in parenthesis):

58 Replies 45,549 Views

I don't see how the size ("infinite") of NMS universe relates to the quality of the gameplay. HG never hid from the players that a lot of stuff will be repetitious. And PG is known to be inherently soulless. They told everybody that you are not going to be saving the galaxy or interact with any well-written characters. Everything about NMS was known from the get go. The hype was created by the extreme fanatics of crafting/survival genre in space and it was blown out of proportion to

Also, questions to SD related to some July update content. 1. Is Jeff Scryve? You don't have to answer, 'twas a rhetorical question. :P I love his head design. 2. Why Trandals "move" like a bird? Shouldn't it be more robotic since they are abiotic in nature? 3. I've noticed only couple of flying creatures and not one swimming. Is underwater exploration out of question <span style=

Let's see how SC2 starts to have a point of reference. 1. We just arrived to Sol and the Earth is red. 2. Arrived to the Starbase, got a fetch quest. 3. Completed the fetch quest, were sent to the Moon. 4. Investigated the moon, got confronted with Ilwrath. 5. Killed Ilwrath, got sent to Pluto, Spathi recruitment mission begins, open world. Not ba

Are you all willingly ignoring the teaser part? Yeah, sure, we all wanna see gameplay, story, combat, adventure etc. Now tell me where is SD gonna pull it out of when even we (founders) haven't seen it? Let me answer it for you. It's not there* and the teaser trailer won't have it. So all you'll get in the TEASER trailer is a little 3D cinematic with a cool track and StorySutscenerough
