Ultimate crashes on Dark Av or Twilight but not on standard GC2 in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I just installed GC2 ultimate bundle. I am unable to update it atm. I can run and play GC2 as normal however whenever I try to play either expac the game just barely starts the cinematic and crashes.
