And why do you need to do that, while simply pin an app will do the same? Tool bar icons never work quite correctly on system with WB running. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
im one of those people that prefer to use toolbar over pin to taskbar. Its just bad ui design to have pinned apps in between open task. Having them always to the left or right is better work flow.
That's just a size margin issue that can be fixed in skin studio. Looks like the left side may be not set right. If you right click the taskbar, hover over search and turn off the icon. See if it still is cut off. If it is, then its what I posted above that may solve it.
I can certainly agree with with each of your arguments, SimplexDesigns. I and several long time members would love to see that happen. I would be nice to have a taskbar like app to replace the windows one to have it set to the sides of the screen. Its a glaring issue with windows 11's "updat

With all the new limitations going on with Windows 11 and for future versions, I think it may be time to bring back the once amazing program Objectbar (Not to be confused with objectdock). The bar allowed you to create custom taskbars and sidebars similar to the vista sidebar. Windows 11 has been getting crippled with many things being lock to the look that Microsoft wants and not allow any customization's to those items. When the next Windows 11 update comes out, the start button will be lim

I have finished updating all substyles for windows 11/start11 support. I also axed all of the Win7/8 substyles and merged them into the main 10 substyles. That was a huge pain in the butt to do but it was needed as it set me up to easily add alternate substyles in the future. Currently adding Classic style from Windows XP. Got a few elements done. File explorer is next! (Win11 substyles were needed since I cant quite get the top frame to have gradients for where t
Wish we were able to customize the font/icon colors with windowblinds of start11 win10/11 styles. Being hardcoded to light/dark mode really limits what we can do with the background images..
Actually solved my issue. It seems start11 no longer allows for a hover state for that arrow. It was just defaulting to the hover color I set in the code editor. I changed it from 1 to 0 and it now displays black again.
Im working on the finishing touches of my theme update and I cant remember where these arrows are pulling their color from. They render white on a white background. Cant seem to locate the section in skin studio where they would be. Any help would be appreciated.
Noticed a bug when you maximize file explorer to full screen using the key f11. The address bar section turns completely black and does not seem to pull its image from Windowblinds.
So, where do I find Stardock Start11, so that I may fix my problem? [e digicons]:)[/e]
You can buy it from here: (Keep in mind what they said in the above post. The jumplist are no longer skinnable as of windows 10 & 11. So they are left as is and cannot be supported by other 3rd party modifications to it with Windowblinds.) https://www.stardock.c
It's really coming along. I like the start button and the new borders. Good work, sir! [e digicons]5*[/e]
Start button is untouched. I will include PNG files for Large and Center Buttons as separate files to reduce using more substyles. They can be applied with start11 when you turn off skinning the start button under windowblinds. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/19/4019518/4
It's gonna be super...can't wait! One of my fave skins. ❤️
Metallic Tabs done! Actually figured out also why the borders were so thick. So all substyles will include that fix. You can see how thin the borders are compared to the blue substyle from the first screenshot in this thread. <
I know I posted this in the beta thread but here is a picture of said issue with windows 11. It obviously is pulling that color from Wb settings and rendering it in the folderbar, just not in the center of it. You can see it rendered on the left and right side. There has to be a way for you guys to get it working. With native windows modded msstyle you can change it so I dont see why WB cant. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/19/4019518/a9cab1f6-b70d-4408-93ad-d1d0b47c9547.p
Any info on the issues I posted on earlier in the thread? https://forums.wincustomize.com/515731/get;3870947
If you use windows 10 or 11 style, you can pin a file by right clicking in a place where you can pin stuff in the menu and select pin a file. Change the type from common to all and find the file you want to pin. You can also copy and paste a shortcut to the file in the same location, then right click that shortcut and select pin to start11 if you are using win7/modern style.
