'desktop is prettier than the game' bug in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

ok the year is ard 2200, its just me and the dregins. and 2 turns b4 crashing their technology and manufacturing starts to drop sharply. It eventually goes to zero. I dont know if this has anything to do with the crash (maybe a gov overthrough) but it looks weird so i thought i'd mention it.
