to cause disorder and suffering, making it easier for your forces to take over

i get a 404 for both links
i've generally found that it's almost always better to concentrate all ships in one mass in sins rather than distribute them throughout your empire. splitting fleets is just not practical because of the limited hotkeys (making it impossible to manage different types of ships in two fleets) and the buggy "fleet" mechanic, as well as the fact that the cost to have sufficient units for that is prohibitive
the rapture vertigo autocast will cast on any strikecraft squad that comes across it, wasting antimatter and recharge time, even if there are frigates in the same vicinity. imo it should only fire on strikecraft when they're in a certain number, say, 10. also, manual targeting on sc should be enabled (it currently isn't)
-ground based military installations -preexisting government -means of communication (cables, radio towers etc) -power generators -population centers (limited, so as to keep enough people alive to maintain the world after occupation)
imo sins has had its run, it needs an eventual sequel to revive it
it appears to me that the kostura uses something more complex than a mere electrical discharge seeing as it's capable of stabilizing phase space and causing physical damage to ships and structures
i'm playing on a computer with windows 7 and radeon 5450 with resolution set to 1920x1800 the problem is that miniscule black spots are constantly flickering around the screen, i can't change the resolution because it looks borderline unusable on the next lowest setting, i've tried changing other settings like anti-aliasing etc, nothing appears to help help please
i really like it looking forward to playing as covenant
how are the cosmetic bits like icons, strings, voices etc?
this is what i don't like about the game mechanics. the weapon graphics aren't completely consistent with the actual meta damage. it would be nice if the effects and projectiles were actually real objects
advent/vasari i find vasari a lot easier to play most of the time. assailants and phase missiles are available at tier 1, and scramble bombers/repair cloud and phase missile strikecraft is nice. later on, there's overseers and subverters, and phase stabilizers. i also like enslaved labor. whereas with advent, i usually end up living on stupid tier 3 illuminators and/or carriers that cost a fortune, until i can make the stretch to tier 5 and destras
you need more frigates early on, you cannot live using only capital ships
sins does need a more intuitive and efficient fleet division system. as it stands i almost never bother to divide my forces because a) it's usually more effective to overwhelm enemies with a single large fleet (more of a balance issue) and b) hotkeys are inadequate for managing multiple diverse fleets, and the fleet mechanic is absurdly buggy; ships join fleets without being asked to and passively move to "reform fleet" which ruins any positioning i've set up.
Well, since i have a busy life i don't know anyone in this game and don't have the time to wait forever for a "normal" game so start. The faster game mode is boring as hell. The one thing i appreciated most in this game is the game speed so you have time to watch your ships fight and so on.
this makes no sense, if you don't even have time to wait for a game how can you play on normal game speed, which is ridiculously long?<
Get rid of the phase lane system
i agree the phase lane concept induces repetitiveness
"my account" -> "login" tab -> "change your username" section
real-time damage system so that the different weapon effects and types arent merely cosmetic the sins damage system has always annoyed me, especially with the backloaded nonsense where it takes a ship what feels like forever to die
i always assumed they destroyed any ground based defenses, allowing the colony force to subjugate the defenseless population
i would personally rather wait for a sequel, even if it takes much longer, theres only so much you can add in an expansion, and its already been almost three years
they don't have any choice
judging from the fleet size upgrade names, they breed/clone crew members and directly impress information into their brains to speed up training
i almost never play as the good guys in any game because they're usually also the most boring factions lore and design wise
i would rather see an eventual sequel than a new expansion
i like using crusaders, guardians, carriers, and defense vessels
