The theme is probably resolution dependent, I'm guessing (help me out here, experts!). If you either jiggle your screen resolution or move the hands, it should work out ok.

Frogboy, I think you've presented the vision of Stardock very succintly, innovation. The amateur skinner in me jumps at the thought of an easier way to make WB/OB personalities (currently finding SkinStudio somewhat intimidating). The "meta" format appeals to me because it would provide as much, or as little, intricacy as the skinner demands. I can foresee the pros being able to whip out high-quality skins in multiples per year. Sure makes porting a lot easier, too. I can't complain

I haven't XP yet, so I can't imagine what it's like to have an explorer that works the way it should (upgrading soon!!!). Static, I see what you mean about Stardock's good terms with MS right now. It would kind of be a large step on the toes to replace the new and improved shell. I just love the flexibility of ObjectBar so much, I thought I'd dispense MS's shell altogether!

Good idea or bad? I've loved the speed and low resource drain of AstonShell (and DANG that thing was easy to skin, too!). Does anyone think it would be in StarDock's interest to create a complete shell replacement? I bet they'd make something killer in this department if they could devote some resources to it.

I've found LiteStep to be an extremely configurable environment with a lot of goodies. For the common user, however, the coding gets to be a little too much (spend more time tweaking the RC files than enjoying the GUI). I have never been able to get it to run for more than four hours without a completely irreversible hang-up. Don't skin for LiteStep. Skin for Object Desktop. LiteStep, Bad. Objec
