I think the problem here is not that early supporters on Epic are being asked to pay more for what is effectively an expansion, but that new buyers are being asked to pay less than the early supporters for the game + expansion. If Supernova cost more than early supporters paid on Epic then asking them for a little more for the expansion would make sense, but with the price of Supernova being the same as GC IV then shouldn't early supporters get the expansion for free? It just

Confused? You will be...
The Early Access FAQ says that they plan to increase the price when it comes out of early access.
Interesting, thanks. A pity, as sometimes it seems you never know where a planet of yours will end up, and trading a planet that ends up in another civ's territory seems like a good idea.
There doesn't seem to be a way to trade planets. In my first game I had a planet well inside Altarian territory, and they had one they took from me well inside my territory. I wanted to offer to trade one planet for the other, but there doesn't seem to be an option to do so. Might this be a good idea?
Playing my first full game in 0.95/0.99 (admittedly not very well!) and the Altarians declared war on me. War continued for some while and I was never able to speak to them, as I was told that it was too soon since I declared war (?). Eventually they offered peace, and I accepted. A turn or two later they declared war again. Again, I was never able to speak to them, and eventually they offered peace again. Again I accepted, and again they declared war a turn or two later. Seems to me
See here: https://forums.galciv4.com/505410/tips-tricks-new-to-gal-civ-iv - "You need to change a citizen into a 'trader' in your planet screen in order to get a license to complete a trade route. "
The basic version number (1.01, 1.02 etc) is shown at the top of the options screen. To find the precise version number, I think you have to go to Stardock - make sure you have 'Show application revisions' ticked under Tools -> Settings.
I think .41 fixed a couple of bugs in the diplomacy screen, and .42 fixed a problem some people were having with the Excalibur.
Thanks for the post (I was beginning to wonder if anyone was interested! ;) ). I have read many of the AARs for EU2, although some of them are just a little too 'elaborated' for me ;p . As for GC, I'm struggling to find the time to play the game let alone write AARs afterwards! BTW, just remembered, doesn't EU2 generate a list of game events, which makes it easier to write AARs - no need to make a written note of game events? Sounds similar to the Epic Generator...
Anyone know anything about this? :notsure:
Just read the (excellent) Games Domain review. Love the idea of the 'Epic Generator' - not heard about this before. Is it still planned? If so, any idea when it will be released?
Stupid question maybe, but how do you reinstall without downloading everything again?
I already have all of the multimedia from the latest beta. Do I still have to download all 366 megs now? Just seems a waste of bandwidth unless all of the multimedia is new.
Thanks for the reply. However, I have now sorted it out - seems I was trying to register Drengin.net rather than Galactic Civilizations! :notsure: Now downloading! :)
I posted here about a failure to logon to Stardock. This seems to have been resolved by installing version 0.99b of Stardock. However, it now tells me that my serial number is incorrect, despite the fact that I have copied & pasted it from Drengin Manager! Am I missing something?
Just installed Stardock Central 0.90, but I just keep getting an error message: 'Your Stardock.net account (email) has failed to log on to the Stardock Central Servers'. Any ideas?
... I have to admit it fooled me too for a minute! LOL I bet Stardock would be happy with a review that good this time around!

No, but it might make the wait even harder... ;)
