magic? terraform yourself some cities!

isn't the problem with caravans not so much the caravan itself.. but lvling up the road or manually re-establishing the route that got destroyed?
i don't think this has anything to do with computer literacy. it's more to do with dodgy patching. i mean.. someone mentioned 2 patches of maybe 30 meg altogether is all that's needed to shift from n->o then surely the fact that the "proper" way according to impulse of doing it is by d/ling 2 gig's worth of whatever is a pretty good indication that something is wrong with the patching process.
is this board getting spammed tons or something? every time i tried to post something in the last day or two.. it says something about the post getting jumbled on the way to the server. eh? --- blimey... i got through.
December 1, 2010 8:32:49 from Elemental Forums Elemental Forums nah not really. you only need 2 huts per city and research housing +10% 5 tim
think the kingdom side takes quite a few research to get to housing.. which may or may not be how you go about the research... or put another way... i just added the base homes and blink an eye... the capital turns lvl 4... (due to the high prestige)
in the beta, leveling up city is a lot faster than previous versions.. you just need a ton of food around. the capital turns lvl 4 without you even knowing anything about it to be honest.
56. Clicking on a players entry in the Faction Power window opens diplomacy with that player. Quoting alaknebs, reply 73doesn't it work for food though? There are farmers that increase the food production of their city but also champions that increase the production. I haven't seen lately any of those who also gave Prestige and too lazy to check the XMLs.
i know... just wondering why it
doesn't it work for food though?
you can play against the ai you built. if you use them as soon as you create them rather than exiting game. it's a bug
29. You can no longer marry NPCs when you first get them. They need to be with you for awhile (they'll tell you).
oddly enough.. i think i had some spiders attack my almost empty settlement. (janusk with no/crap weapon?) ... they killed the defender... and then... just sat outside the empty settlement... i think.
didn't someone mention in a bug report that the ones that didn't get recruited started off in the stack as champions already? whatever they are.... https://forums.elementalgame.com/400713
i thought someone said city hub should give 0 pop capacity. was wondering why they are adding 10 to starting outpost in that change log because ai is having problems (eh?) all they have to do is add more types of housing. did they change their mind again?
don't know about you it's still there for me and keeps dying after 1 gig has been d/led.. so i'm not going to bother again. after trying 5 or whatever times. i thought the whole point of impulse/elemental patching is smaller patches... only d/ling replacing files that are different. i can't believe a minor update needs to change just about every single file. in fact, surely it shouldn't say 1.9 gig needs downloading when it can only d/l just over 1 gig before cr
charisma should create a leadership stat (cha/int combo?).. buffs your army. anyway.. it doesn't even work for prestige now anyway...
well.. doesn't have to be under adventure. just some tech that needs researching to figure out how to use it. where you place the tech doesn't matter all that much. just like they'll have to reword all the related techs to allow exploration of unique dungeons and what not (rather than just discovering them). possible excuses would be... sites under wards, traps, etc and you research how to enter to it... can be 1 tech for each unique dungeon/library/etc too!
the whole children thing isn't really working properly anyway... boy copies father, girl mother is just plain stupid. especially the description bit. that said... mine seems to have quite high atk ratings... (50 something...) and that's a boy with janusk the farmer as father?! (ok.. it's sitting in the capital.. eh... farming)
as i mentioned before.. things like that or notable dungeons should be visible to all (and get rid of nonsense such as spawning it once for every faction that research it) but stop a side from using/accessing it unless they have researched whatever. heck, people can build around it even if they can't use it to block other sides (that has researched it) from using it!
here's another one? kingdoms get to build 3 caravans each settlement now? except after building each one it says limit reached..
old bug that appeared (or introduced) quite a while back in one of the patches......
you get both of them at lvl 1 from what i can see.. 16 mp for the friendly territory though odd enough... i think i teleported my stack to somewhere near a tough spider but inside my borders... waiting for tech to finish and get new weapons... wait a few turns and the stack was back in the original position... either that... or i didn't notice it didn't teleport. XD that's not to say teleport doesn't work.. it does. just som
also applies to hero's "special skills" though strange enough, one of them with an icon of a fist or some such that is supposed to give you 1 max dmg free hit doesn't do the damage shown..
raise land can be useful to get around someone if you want to hem them in with new cities around them without starting a war.. or grab a resource blocked by "neutral" faction.... (only applies near coasts really..).. though that might have more to do with passive ai (which may or may not exist) i don't see any real point in any of the starting enchantments aside from food. gold you get from taxes and for that you'd rather spend the mp maintenance on a hut or something pop related (fro
um. don't they normally build stuff? if they don't have influence, they can't build anything to do anything? is there a point in having them aside from caravan stop/foreign shop/spouse?
even better would be for the shop to display equipment in the inventory tab (or extra tab) along with what slot the stuff goes to, rather than just odd bits that you can sell.
