well, lets start out with a question.. Which skins are you trying to download, and Do you have the appropriate application installed for that type of skin? i.e. windowblinds skins require the windowblinds application, icon themes require IconPackager, etc. If you do have the appropriate applications then you can continue, if not you'll need to get the programs installed before you will be able to install any of the skins. Assuming you are continuing, here's how you can install

P.S. Use your previous thread for this as this is the same problem you posted here -> https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=299010#299102
1) lose the caps, it means you're yelling and no one here will appreciate it 2) e-mail [email protected] OR get t-man's e-mail address and send him a message 3) be patient, this site is run by volunteers and there are several million registered users on this site... Good Luck!
I'm not positive what the minimum rating for public skins is but I know that there is one. I went to your library and your skins are all rated between a 4 and a 6, so if the cutoff for non WC members is 7 then people who have not signed up for at least a free account will not see them. I believe the cutoff is around a 7 or an 8.. Good Luck!
you might also try posting some details about the objects you are having problems with.. Is it ANY object, or are there specific ones that are causing problems? You might try installing a really basic object like a simple calendar to see if that will work and then move on to more advanced objects so we can tell if it's a version issue.. Good Luck!
I think I've seen this with past versions.. Here's what I did to fix it: 1) uninstall DX 2) make sure ALL traces of the program directory are gone 3) re-install DX You should be good to go after this.. Check back if not.
Public reposting of mail, hate or otherwise would be an invasion of privacy/confidentiality I really feel that this statement is part of the problem with e-mail.. Too many people think there is some big privacy statement that goes along with sending e-mail. As far as I'm concerned, and I think this way before I make any posts on boards like this
Anyone else notice that when installing OD+ from SDC that your existing menus are obliterated??
don't they want people to make themes with it Well, it seems that MS wanted to get new ways of changing how Windows looks into the product WITHOUT the hassle of supporting it. Which is why they added the digital signatures to the themes. If they hadn't then they would be forced to support the extensibility of the theme engine and that would be a
But, what would happen if Microsoft actually went after TGT Soft legally If MS so desired they could wipe TGTSoft off the face of the planet with very little effort. It's painfully obvious that StyleXP as a software and TGTSoft as a company have no legal legs to stand on. It would be fun to witness though!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/i
latin, this is relatively easy to do without much of a script at all. Are you wanting these state changes to occur when something is clicked, or based on a time frame, or perhaps some other criteria? Basically, you can setup 4 states in your DX object and then use a persistent variable to store the current state and have a timer with a function that checks the current state and changes to the next if necessary. If you provide a few more details as to what you are wanting to do and how you would
Maybe thats what Brad needs. A little group of minions to do his dirty work. Now THAT sounds fun!! Count me in... The WC Counter-Terrorist organization.. <img src="http
bug fixes and stability first, new features later.. Betas are not the time to add new features, betas are the time to polish up the features..
Have you checked the build number after each update? I have 2.00.293 Build 58, since it's a new layout they are probably updating and fixing things on a daily basis..
Very interesting!! You sound like me in the sense that you take problems like this as a challenge and try to find out EXACTLY what the problem is.. Now it should be relatively easy for the developer to fix the problem because you've given such detailed information about the issue.. Great work!!
exactly.. I have it on my home PC, laptop and work PC. For the most part I use these machines at completely different times. I don't remember having seen any threads on this board about problems such as these. Have you tried to get help here before, or have you just come here to try and stir the fires and get a response because you're an unhappy camper? You won't find much support for your cause here though because most people are perfectly happy with the products and services we'v
you do reallize that one OD subscription is for ONE computer, right? Actually, that is not true. I use my ODNT subscription on all of my computers..
Ditto from me.. I've been here somewhere between 3 and 4 years now I think and I still spend waaaaay too much time here. If that's possible! Here's to many more years to come!!
You could always drag it to it's smallerst size. Granted it will still be like 2 pixels but it's better than nothing. Or, you could use ObjectDocks hide Windows Taskbar option, it's not perfect but it works. If all else fails you can probably find some other ideas or apps that can do it by searching on Google. Good Luck!
do a search for trillian in the forum here and you'll get all the info you need..
Yes, WOM is correct he had testicular cancer.
Windowblinds to use skins and SkinStudio to build them Here Here!!
Maybe they just want to steal your bandwidth This is entirely possible, but I'd nail it in a heartbeat. Also, I have 3 computers that are allowed access through my router and unless said hacker can get the MAC address of one of them, he's not going to be sending any data through my router.. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smil
I personally feel that TGTSoft are a bunch of thugs.. Hopefully some of the people that pay them for StyleXP will wake up and realize that the program IS NOT zero footprint. Recently I actually spoke with a person here at work who uses StyleXP and he gave me practically verbatim the marketing message from tgtsoft.com as the reason he uses the program. It was really funny to listen to an intelligent person blindly repeat that message like he knew it to be a fact. When I questioned him about wheth
kona, for your average home user an access point with 128 bit encryption will suffice. The people who are out war driving aren't as interested in spending the time to get onto a personal network as they are a corporate network. I've had my acccess point running non-stop for between 6 and 8 months and I've never even seen anyone trying to connect much less actually succeeding. Besides, if they get onto the network that's only half the battle, they still have to try and get into my computer. It's
